He could have tried harder.
17/18 looks good when you can't tell it's diameter stagger which defeats the purpose. I looked that fact up on AskJeeves.com and confirmed it on Snopes. |

Uggghhhhhhh....My GK Tech order is shipping next week on tuesday, when it arrives the 18x11 -20 and 12 -10 setup is coming off and I should have some pics of my new set up, 18/19 stagger on the zenki soon. Wish I had made it in time to be cool with the rest of you guys on 1362: Stagger Club Page :/

What page is that? I hate my 18/19 stagger. My OCD goes nuts. |

Agreed, they are just too damn aggressive. I could hardpark them if I dialed the car in just right. But they don't net me much angle, require 20mm spacers to clear the brakes, and they aren't terribly light. The previous set up required RLCA's to be short to the max, the axles would have needed to be shortened. The fronts don't clear my anti-baller-spec wilwoods and with the 20mm spacers they are humangous and would have KAB-LITERATED the fenders under any compression.
Rear knuckles, FLCA's, RLCA's, Offset strut tower tops. Running that with Driftworks knuckles, relocated steering rack, KTS coils, and SPL links out back. Quote:
I feel like you can tell 17/18 more distinctly depending on the wheel. I wouldn't mind if I could tuck a bit of a 19 out back though and still be functional. Ultimately, I want a square contact patch and I want to be able to drive the car. I really wanted the wheels I scooped, but they aren't exactly plentiful, and size wasn't really an option. The engine setup is still in process, current ride height is not final. Mounted up some 255/35 up front and 265/30 out back, tirerack has them measured as the same width patch-wise. |
