I havent watched super but did see the last two movies. How many ssj forms are there after 3? SSJB is im guessing better than SSJ3 and SSJG is better than SSJB. How does SSJ4 relate to any of these even though GT was "canon"

I would be geeking out with them but im waiting for the dub, I cant stand goku japanese voiceactor... I know its an old lady but ffs it sounds like someone playing a snapchat filter voice changer the whole episode.

GT isn't canon, so SSJ4 doesn't even exist in anything other than GT.

So its SSJ3 > SSJ God > SSJ God Super Saiyain (later changed to just SSJ Blue).

I'm thinking there's got to be one more transformation in the future considering the enemies now.

It's honestly not that bad man, I hated it at first, but I've gotten used to it. Putting up with the voice is well worth being caught up with the story. They're doing a damn good job keeping everyone guessing what's going to happen next. I'll rewatch in dub also, I'm looking forward to hearing Vegeta's english lines.

Wasnt GT pretty much a Spinoff? It seems like Toriyama wants to erase that from our memories. hah.

The Shadow Dragon saga that ended it all was pretty epic though.

GT gets a lot of hate but from what I remember it wasnt even bad. I loved playing Dragonball Budokai 3 with ssj4 gogeta

You seem to have a really high standard when it comes to anime, so let me warn you - DB Super is NOT good by any stretch of the imagination. If you're able to enjoy it at all, it's likely because of the nostalgia clouding your judgment. With that said, it's a fun watch as long as you lower your expectations.

Haha nah I dont have like crazy high and just like dub over sub for the fact I watch shows and not read them. I kinda expect super to not be what I experienced as a child but its just something you like watching because your familiar with it. I dont think DBZ is really that good looking back now but its the memories we have of it as kid and talking about it with our friends that make it good imo.

The only thing I hate about anime is the very tropey highschool and over the top tits/ass 24/7 garbo stuff. I mainly watch because I dont find other mediums like cartoons or even live action stuff like Arrow,Gotham, Flash is just generic story where the hero grows, fights bad dudes and wins.

Stuff like Bebop has like a real world story where not everything is fair and even the gundam franchise with all its focus on politics and the idea what humans will do when the time comes to leave earth.

Ill be honest I agree with you. DB Super is pretty much re-hashing old DBZ history. Its nothing really new that weve seen. Personally im just happy that the show is back and in a modern form

Worse than rehashing stories, it's just not consistent when gauging ppl's strength... Powering up used to make the whole Earth rumble. Goku and Beerus nearly destroyed the universe with the power they were putting out. Have we seen anything even remotely close to that level of strength from Black? Lol... fuck no. the author for the manga is writing again so maybe in the future we will see more season.

Should I start up Fate/Zero or Baccano, kinda want to watch something pretty gorey. Isnt Elfen Lied fairly good?

Watch Fate/Stay before Fate/Zero.

Zero is a prequel that will give away everything in Stay.

It's a prequel and it ruins the original.

Just like if you watched Star Wars 1-3 before 4-6. Suddenly all the mystery and surprise of the original Trilogy is lost.

Zero even makes the assumption you've watched Stay.

Isnt stay not good as zero? Some people say its not worth it and others say its a must. I will watch like 3 episodes and see how it is, if its lame ill go straight into zero.
