Trump had several months to help me hate Biden enough to leave the presidential vote blank because I was never voting Trump, ever. Not even years before he became a politician. Fuck Trump more. No politician who ever actively says they're coming for peoples' guns and then survives a primary, then a general, ever actually succeeded in doing to. We don't have universal healthcare and we don't know who is going to pay for these drugs. We don't know how expensive they are, or the speed at which they can be manufactured and distributed.

Having a viable vaccine removes a variable from the problem, but doesn't solve the problem.

When Covid first hit our shores they were saying 18+ months for a vaccine to be readily available to the public. Looks like they're a bit ahead of schedule.

I wouldn't say it's a ploy or a hoax but if you aren't willing and able to take advantage and spin any situation that falls in your lap for your advantage, you're probably not a very good politician. Obviously they're going to use something like this to their advantage, but it's not like the doofus in the Whitehouse made it difficult for them.

What these two segments actually show you is that:
a. The medical world has actually taken things seriously and has been busting ass to find a vaccine.
b. The Trump administration is incompetent and hasn't enacted the emergency protocol, which could have decreased spread (via PPE/testing), sped vaccine development (via testing/DPA), and made "experimental" vaccines more readily available (DPA).

You would love for that to be the case. The biggest thing about covid which irks me are those who insist on making it political. This virus is being, "managed" and has been as deadly as the 1918 H1N1 virus, which took place at a time where management and even general science knowledge was much worse.

But to go on about your oversimplification implying there is nothing left to "tackle". Here are some things to think about.

1. Who's paying for it?
2. What logistics are in place to manage distribution? (This is a nightmare to sort out).
3. Who's upholding punishment for malpractice?
4. Who's the first to receive the vaccine?

Moderna says that it will still be several months before the vaccine can/will be distributed. That is the most non-answer answer I could imagine hearing. The speed with which this has come to be leaves questions about long term side effects and actual tests of the efficacy of the vaccine anyway.

I think the count is now up to 20+ cases dismissed or thrown out.

And trump I think has maybe 2 or 3 lawyers left in the various states

I read some of the affiavids, and a majority of them were people who had zero clue on election rules. Nothing really about fraud. I mean; the lawyer used his business partner as a witness??

The ones they could not prove were false, they submitted to the court.

"How is that a reliable process of gathering evidence?"

Judge Kiley responds: That's not an indicia of trustworthiness of the remaining affidavits. That just shows you can't disprove what's asserted.
