240sx exhaust (KA24E) - HKS Sport
Guys,
I have an 89 with a ka24e and looking at this HKS exhaust below. The thing is, in the HKS product page I am seeing this exhaust (HKS 31013-BN002) shows it is compatible with the KA24DE and the SR20DET. Not seeing KA24E. I do see that the HKS 32003-KN002 has compatibility for the KA24E, but that is not dual tip, single can and I want dual tip. Does anyone know if the HKS 31013-BN002 will work with the KA24E? https://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/produ...duct/1/maker/2 https://www.amazon.com/HKS-31013-BN0...A1P4Q6WVP7QBZ3 Thanks in advance! Bob |

all S13 catback exhausts are the same, as long as your catalytic converter or test pipe is still in the same location as stock.
also, if you are in the US I can get you a price shipped Edit: on second thought, you should just buy from the sellers on Amazon. they are lowballers, not worth it to fight over literally $5 in profit.

the distance between the two studs on the catalytic converter is the same for the two holes on OE and aftermarket exhausts. The gasket above is the stock gasket between the catalytic converter and the exhaust. The exhaust comes with gaskets but either way, you don't need to worry about this. again: if you have a stock, stock replacement, aftermarket catalytic converter, or any test pipe that replaces the cat 1:1 with the same bolt holes, the exhaust will fit. that's all. even 3" aftermarket exhausts will still mate up to the same two studs found on the stock setup, so the flange will only be so big.

Gotcha, thanks so much my man. Really appreciate the help on this. I threw an exhaust on an old 240 years ago and couldn't remember if I had to do anything special here with the install.
