AC on all the time!?!?

Just recently my s14 started having problems with the a/c. Well not the a/c but the fan would turn on when the car was even if the knob was set to off. I just can't turn it off anymore. Anyone have any solutions to this problem if it's happened to you?

Are you trying to say on or off here "the fan would turn on when the car was ___ even if the knob..."

I haven't heard of this happening when the ignition is set to off, but it sounds like you definately have some wiring issues.

try swapping out the push control unit with a working one, could be the internal switch contacts ( i doubt two wires would strip there sheathing and splice themselfs together)

Ok so my question was poorly written. I was trying to say that everytime I turned my car on my fan would turn on to almost full blast even if the knob was set to the off position. Thanks for the replies though! Sometimes I hit a bump and it'll turn off for a couple of seconds but then turn right back on.

Cooling fan (inside the car)
AC auxiliary fan (outside the car)
Which one?
