engine swap question, PLEASE HELP!!!

im putting a 93 ka back into my 1993 240 and i was wondering what the best route was with seperating the engine from the transmission. should i just unbolt it from the tranny and take the engine out?

take the motor out w/the tranny still attached lol, so much easier..then you could separate the tranny from the motor if you'd like after that

cuz it takes longer to get to all the bolts around the tranny than it does to just take it out with the engine

yeah what he said, and trust me, it's a big PITA to put the tranny on while the engine is on, learned from doing a manual swap on my friends car, being under the car w/that heavy tranny...especially if your clutch isn't aligned right, man tha'ts a lot of work/time that could be wasted, and you'll have a lot more room when it's out, but thats if your'e going to take it apart to replace your clutch or something, i mean if you're going to take out/separate them both, you might as well take them out together all at once anyway, but do whatever you feel, we all learn someway

so i think pretty much everything but the driveshaft and the transmission mount are off, do i need to put a jack stand under the tranny after i take those off and is it going to be a pain trying to squeeze the transmission out?
