-3 is not perfect, and I don't see any reason why my opinions on chassis setup make me a wussbag. Again with the assumptions... do you know me? No, so shut up and sit down. We're both expressing opinions because unless you have the pyrometer readings to prove that -3 is any better what you say is just that: an opinion.

How the hell would you know whether or not I've run -3 degrees camber? I've run -2.8 before but the car was less-well-prepped. I'm fairly sure I could get away with -2.5 or slightly less now but I think -3 is pretty excessive and concedes too much in braking. What was -3 degrees static increases further under compression and, depending on caster, steering angle.

I previously made concessions to the arguments of the lowness crowd. I understand the reasons why you guys do it.

the paint is vinyl, it looks good in pictures and from a distance, but up close, its got wrinkles and stuff. its cool for the price (~100$). uhh no, its not lip gloss.

NI_YON_Zenki - hrm your post is kindof confusing to read. i mainly got the wheels cause i got a good price, they look awesome, and theyre big enough to allow for pretty much whatever compound i could think of. ive never gotten any curb rash during mountain runs, maybe you have too low of a load rating/arent running enough pressure? yes that is only the rear fitment. the front is 18x10 -7 so not as wide. corvette is my dads, got it a couple weeks ago, its one of the 405hp z06s, has exhaust intake headers high flow cats, and x pipe i think. its so much faster than my car, its sad. but it dosent have ANY steering angle. lol.

This whole argument is retarded considering suspension settings are all subjective. It all depends on the DRIVER. For instance, i hope you all realize that all the guys that are in D1, F1 Racing, Auto-x, etc... all run different settings. Some like more camber than others, some like more toe than others and so on and so forth. No 1 setup is necessarily better than the other. Its DRIVER PREFERENCE. As for the comment of running ridiculous amounts of camber that even a grip car would not be able to take advantage of. When you are drifting, at or near full lock, the leading wheel, with the majority of the weight on it, even with like -3 camber will still have positive camber. that is why running like -4 camber in the front can even be beneficial on a drift car. That's why I run so much camber. And for the rear, since I don't have much power, the slightly smaller contact patch is easier to keep spinning.

Anywho, it just comes down to preference.

you can get the stuff from www.signcatalog.com they have all different types and colors and everything. on the side go to "vinyl for signmaking" and the cool stuff is at the bottom, the metal flake one is what i used. it sucks, but its cooler than primer and if you mess it up you can just stick another piece on. the 24x50 yd rolls that are like 89$ + shipping, that is plenty to cover a whole car with.
