When I was on my other name WONTON744, I got bagged on like a mutha fucker.  I took all that shit from everybody, so bboyoxygen I don't know why the fuck you're crying.

Any suggestions on some exhausts to get???  What I had in mind on getting is a full catback exhaust.  I only know of Apex, greddy, and Blitz.  For sure blitz will be a good exhaust since I can get it for $550, but any other exhausts out there that sound really deep and won't sound all pussy???

Sorry west, but I added some other info that I needed.  Is this all right???

Apex-i dual N1 is cheaper, or as cheap from what I know.  What application are you going to be using it on though?  Some aren't really meant for NA because the piping is too big.

the exhaust is for my 97 240sx.  The reason why my blitz exhaust is so cheap is because I'm getting hooked up (150 discount)

oh hehe, ma bad.  I think that I'm going to stay with the KA.  Maybe someday after I get a new car the 240 will become my project car.   I want to get name brand stuff, nothing immitation.  I know the blitz exhaust has a 80mm piping, but it's the name that is good.  How much do you think it'll improve my performance or make worse???

Too big IS a bad thing.  Like dude said, the Blitz is geared toward a turbo setup, where more flow is optimal.  If I were you I would stick to an exhaust reccomended for the KA, such as the Apexi.

I believe the n/a is 2.5" (or 2.25") and the turbo is 3". I've also heard good things about the 5-Zigen Fireball exhaust, which has an n/a and turbo applications.  Also, you could look into an HKS Hiper exhaust, which is another N1-style system. I heard HKS exhausts are fairly quiet. Jspec.com sells the GReddy Power Extreme 2 exhaust, but the n/a version needs to be special ordered. From the description, I heard they're kinda quiet for an N1 exhaust.  Some people on this board have ordered from jspec.com for $550 shipped to their door.

If you're not really into the N1 style and want to be a bit different than most of the S14 owners, there's always the GReddy SP and the GReddy MX, which is the more traditional looking aftermarket exhaust system.  Tanabe also has a Super Hyper Medallion model for your car as well, Enjuku Racing sells this system for $499. The Hyper Medallion is a great exhaust, my friend has one on his Civic EX and it sounds nothing like a swarm of angry bees. It's fairly quiet and the tip size isn't too huge. Plus the muffler has that cool "Tanabe" logo etched onto the muffler, which can be clearly seen from behind.

There's more I could name off, but I don't think I remember them all or know whether or not certain models are discontinued.

It looks similar to the INGS bumper...but not quite.  You be the judge.

hmm, hehe they both look good.  ok, I've selected 4 exhausts.
1) Blitz nurspec R
2) Apex N1
3) Hks drager
4) Greddy PE

out of those 4, which do you think would have the best performance and sound for the KA???

Performance wise, the difference is minimal.  So now it's in the matter of looks and sound. NUR-Spec is loud if it's on n/a, Apex'i N1 is fairly loud, HKS Dragger is moderately loud, and the Power Extreme (the one the US sells) is going to be as loud as the HKS Dragger since they're similar exhausts anyway. Keep in mind, the shipping for the Apex'i N1 is going to be around $100 since I heard it's all one unit in a huge ass box instead of the piping in a couple pieces in a smaller box.

what's up man... i have a black 97 240 too! i too had the debate as to what exhaust would look and sound the best. i didn't want to sound like some of those nasty sounding hondas that i have sometimes heard. i went with the Apexi N1. i just got the single not the dual. it has the 2 3/4 in piping and has a sweet mellow tone. it also looks fat as hell. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

IF you are looking for more of a permormance exhaust then get the n1 duel the n1 singal is more for a turbo application. They are not that loud but they have a deep tone i have heard onew on a 96 240 its pretty sweet sound.I am going to be gettin the n1 duel cus turbo seems more out of the question right now until i get out of school or get a computer job that pays well.

The Fireball and the Greddys are the only ones made for an NA car. &nbsp;2.5 is optimum flow for that application. &nbsp;N1, Nur Spec, (and IIRC, HKS) are all turbo applications.

well, for me, it's not really performance that I want. &nbsp;I know that I'll be losing a little low end torque with the single tips right??? &nbsp;I mainly care about sound, so which do you guys think will have the deepest/not too loud sound? &nbsp;I want it to growl when I rev it
