I just bought my 240sx a few months back and I keep changing my plans on what to do with it I was going to do SR, then thought about RB, then back to SR, and now I have one plan and I'm going to stick with it. My new and permanent plan is to go ahead and paint, roll cage, suspension, seat, harness, harness bar, NRG quick release steering wheel, and after that's all done I'm ploping a LQ4/LS1 in and breaking tires lose. If you don't like UDM+JDM guess what?

What's up everyone im TJ. Built a 89' hatch last year with a stock longblock rb25 made 436whp/328ft-lbs on 14psi. gt35r, full fuel cell fueling system, big front mount, freddy manifold, tuned on apexi power fc (epic fail not getting d-jetro)

now i just recently picked up a 89' coupe. Its a dark maroon red, matching color newer driver door (got power window on driver side lol) a tan front quarter fender, and clutch signal for ignition was wired to a button on my dash lol. Got the car like this you can say i probably saved it from its last owner as he said it ran great (which of course it didnt needed new maf o2 sensor and i had to rewire both sensors and the car had a quart of oil in it when i got it) but its on its feet and driving again. Coilovers are coming soon, may or may not wait for 5 lug conversion on this one, and still cant decide on front clip or crate motor for it this winter. Excited to meet everyone and become a part of the community!

Hey guys. Been lurking this site for 3 years since I bought my first s13 hatch. Joined up a few months ago and continued lurking... I've had 3 240s. Still own my original 1990 hatch, bought and sold a 1991 hatch, and now also have a 1996 se. still don't have any super plans for them yet. just fixing them up and doing brake and suspension mods for now. hows it goin, my names Nick and I joined a few days ago. right now im driving a 2000 toyota celica, but im looking to sell and find 240 in its place. im looking at a suuuuper clean 1990 s13 fastback right now, and came here hoping to get more information before purchasing. Its got a ton of miles on it, but seems like theres no rust and i plan to do an sr20 swap right after purchase. from what a lot of people have told me it should be a safe daily driver, besides in the winter cuz of rwd, but i can deal.

Anyone know why the search button doesnt work? iv tried multiple computers and web browsers and no matter what it doesnt work.

Around how many miles? I got the same exact 240 with 152,xxx when I bought mine, not much compared to what I've seen. If it's over 225,xxx that's pretty high, but I've heard of over 300,xxx running strong. And no rust is excellent, I would take it just for that (and the super clean part!!). Sounds like a nice reliable 240. Good luck!

well the body has 280k miles, but the has a different engine with 150k, but is still the sohc KA engine. its goin for 3500, a buddy i talked to said thats super expensive. what do you think?
