Seems alot of immature Zilvians have felt my thread in "Offtopic" of the E46 BMW drifting ( http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=96777 ) was not 240sx related and left me negative rep points .. and I had posted this in Offtopic since it did not relate to nissans in the first place.. or recieving negative points for "gay vid" .. that is all personal opinions, and I really dont feel should reflect on my reputation just because some one thinks that.

This whole reputation points thing is highly abused imo. I have yet to even leave anyone anything in return (well besides it wont let me). I think we can do without it. Im not one to bitch about it, since it really doesnt mean much, but im sure even this lil thread will probably catch me a few negative reps.

I agree with you, there is no reason for memebers to leave bad reps when you post a vid of a BMW. Everything is fixed.

what is the point of having a reputation button anyways? is there really any perpous to it? and could it be removed?

If you recieve any sort of rep abuse, PM a moderator with the reason for the rep, and why it's abusive. We make a note of it, and habitual rep abusers will have their rep power removed, and will probably get pinked.

how do we know if we receive rep abuse?

When you check your rep, and people are asshats and give you negative rep for posting a BMW vid in OT. You know when it's happened.

can i check out my rep even though im pinked? cause i looked to see where i could go and couldnt seem to find how to check that.... ive been pinked for so long that i forget if i could give rep before

from what I know about pinking, you should still be able to see your User CP (at the top of the screen), that is where rep is listed

well, I can personally say that I have been neg repped more than once by the same person. For their belief that I was lowballing by making an offer when the person posting asked for offers. On top of this I will not name names but certain people, have posted illegal stuff for sale and when you point it out neg rep you for it. Add to this the fact that these same people rep themselves between friends back and forth giving themselves high reputations beyond what they give to the forum.
