Installation overall was nice and easy, took me 5 hrs (it seemed like 1 hr tho, time flies), had to splice into 3 ecu wires and drilling thru my dash.. damn it looks like shit.. Not really a show car anyway, who cares.. maybe some black tape over it...

the meter is fairly accurate on all aspect of measurements from speed to power measurement, around 125hp at 5823rpm. (it measures in ps tho.. .986ps = 1hp, close enough) I actually need to re-enter loss-power so my fiqure should be better, and weight my car too. AFter all, it is consistancy that's more important anyway.. that's what I keep telling myself..

only problem as of now (3 days) is that lateral/trans G's gets off if I dont re-zero it everytime I drive, kinda annoying as you can see it shows +.06 G when car's parked.

havn't tried quarter mile time yet but hope it comes out good..

After all, a good buy if you gonna turbo the car and do lotta tuning.. displaying how many G's your car pulls doesnt really worth the money.. nothin but show pts, if any..

Pretty cool man.. I think you could've found a better way to mount it though.

What did you use to create that hole? A spoon? J/K
The device it self looks pretty nice and maybe you could give some detail info on where you ran the wires and with ECU wires you cut so a mod could put it under the install section.... details rule.

chimp, you're right. I should've place the meter right on top the hole.. i dont think makin the hole was avoidable tho..

sil, i made the hole with a drill and I had to widen it for the pin connector at the end.. and all the foam just got all over the place.. I'll have to go home for the detail description for the install.

If you are interested in just removing your speed govenor Blitz also makes a speed meter that is alot cheaper but does not have all the other functions like 1/4 mile and such.

It just measures speed but does remove the govenor.

you could always use some silicone or something of that sort to make it look nicer (even some wire loom and electrical tape would make it a bit cleaner).

i'm wondering if you wired power correctly though.... shouldn't it keep it's settings stored when you turn the car off??

Basically, is there an ignition wire and a power wire?? if so, you probably wired the power wire incorrectly..... that would be REALLY annoying to me if i had to reset it all the time....
