gintama is fucking hilarious but crunchyroll where I paid for a membership has been having server issues as of late and everything I watch is choppy as fuck so I've been stuck at episode 150 for a while now =(
I love how there isn't any kind of continuous story line, it's just here and there. But the episodes are all good, haven't watched an episode of that show I didn't like. |

I love the episode setup as well no story to drag out with fillers to keep you watching just awesome episodes.
I have not had any issues with crunchyroll. might be because I watch during non peak hours though. |

Capeta was very good
especially if you like cars/driving sucks that they only covered part of the story in the anime and stopped just as it was getting good Quote:
Samurai 7 Wolf's Rain Paranoia Agent Mushishi (sp?) Monster Macross Plus Darker Than Black Ergo Proxy Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 Panty & Stocking Mitsudomoe 1 & 2 that should hold you for a while Quote:
Berserk is great but anime only covers a fraction of the story manga still going on I think Claymore is similar but again only part of the story is covered since the manga is still being put out Quote:
I watch too damn much anime (no cable and TV usually sucks) most of isn't worth mentioning of the current stuff Fractale, Level E and Mitsudomoe are worth seeing the rest is just cliched harem stuff although Freezing seems to have started getting interesting recently saw Ergo Proxy, highly recommended to fans of sci-fi, metaphysics, philosophy, cyberpunk Bakemonogatari was also pretty cool so was Arakawa Under A Bridge Summer Wars also looks very cool, only saw a bit of it and the visuals are amazingm very Murakanesque and Naruto done with fillers aswell |

My friend told me end of Berserk is similar to Gantz which I fucking hated... left 1 million unanswered questions. Mainly because both the manga's are still going. I am not a fan of never ending animes or mangas... waste of my time. I have 5 episodes left of Berserk and I can say atleast everything I have watched so far has been satisfying enough. Gantz was just like this sucks I hope it gets better and then it never does lol. |

I hadn't heard of Capeta.
Going to check it out. How many episodes are there? I found an HK version with 1-52: (eBay, so link will expire) http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Capeta-Compl...item4cf480437e I've been reading the Oishinbo manga, which I highly recommend to anyone who likes to cook. No dubbed/subtitled version of the anime is available though, unfortunately. I can find HK versions with Chinese subs, but not English.

it didn't catch my eye when it first came out closest thing to Berserk I've seen is Claymore and yeah, I feel you, I hate animes that come out before the manga is done Quote:
group that subbed is Saizen but it came out in 2006 - 08ish so finding the subs may be hard If I don't forget I'll check to see if I still have copies when I get home I'm also a sucker for sports themed anime: Touch Slam Dunk Hajime No Ippo Oifu Price of Tennis etc, etc really hoping they do another season of Giant Killing (very good soccer anime) |

DBZ maybe entertaining but it can hardly be called good not all Gundam series are good - War in the Pocket, Stardust Memory and Char's Counterattack are my favorite ones by Samurai X you mean the Rurouni Kenshin OAVs right? By most accounts of anime fans that are old enough to know, Robotech was/is an abomination Southern Cross + Mospeada + Macross = Robotech Try some of the titles already suggested here |

Here's more to add to my list:
Cowboy Bebop: Jazz is cool! Tenjo Tenghe: Good martial arts action. Desert Punk: It was kinda good. Ranma 1/2: Very funny and action-packed. Grenadier: Just seen a few episodes. It's Trigun with boobs. Trigun: Just seen a few episodes. Cyberteam in Akihabara: Young schoolgirls who possess magical robot "pets" that transform into voluptuous women warriors in scantily-clad armor to fight evil. Kinda weird but good. Actually a shoujo series. I think that is about it. Last edited by Mew2Senshi: The Driver; 03-27-2011 at 08:02 PM.. Reason: Spell check. |

hmm ones that i used to watch that are REALLY hilarious/good/intense:
s-cry-ed the get backers (short but amazing) and idk if anyones said it, but i think inuyasha for the most part is awesome. demons are cool (i have a think for evil things...). sure its a lil girly romance wise, but its hilarious and theres alot of gore :P action/comedy ftw edit: gdi i just went through the other pages. apparently the OP did mention s-cry-ed and get backers =( and someone mentioned inuyasha lol. d. gray-man was pretty good, but i only got to like the 23rd ep.

Cool thread and all, but we should list the anime(s) like this:
Name/title: Genre: ex:romance, war, comedy, etc Theme: ex: historic, samurai, mecha, etc. Plot summary: I know there's google and all, but it's just to make it easier on what the person's looking for in a anime instead of just listing titles. |

recent anime
Code Geass - Great anime. Best ending ever. Claymore - Decent, kinda vague not much character development. Soul Eater = Awsome, its the type of anime that leaves you wanting more! very original, every episode is entertaining. Darker then black - pretty damn good D. Gray-man = very generic, tons of filler! Its good at the begining and if you can make it through the middle (sooo much filler! same shit different episode). The end is good. After episode 60ish it starts to get really interesting again. |

told you
classic Quote:
Scryed is under-rated imo, good battle anime that's because the anime only covers that very early part of the manga so much has happened since Quote:
warning: manga isn't finished either Quote:

Don't hold your breath. You're better off reading the ongoing Initial D or Over Rev mangas or jumping into the Wangan Midnight anime.
You won't be disappointed. A perfect mix of action & comedy. Great draw style & awesome music too. |
