$150 to Capitol One
$100 on phone bill
$350 on loan

Thats just what i owe to be caught up with all my bills. Only using my credit card for emergencies after i pay it off. Its crazy how fast u can amass a debt without thinking about it. And im 23

$90k school loans, no mortgage or CC debt. We own our Forester, will be buying an S14 cash, maybe finance a BRZ/FT86 if I like them as much as it seems I should.

Higher education is a pretty dicey proposition in America nowadays unless your degree gives you a clear career trajectory. Mine does, so my school loans don't concern me. Actually, I'm at less than half of the average for a med school grad.

$950 to my credit card which is mainly car parts. which is why I have the credit card in the first place. some may not agree with putting car parts on a credit card but I do it because I have the money in my savings to pay it off. Im just 20 and want to build my credit. so I do it with my car lol

There's no problem with buying things on credit to build your credit score, as long as you actually have the cash to pay it off each month in total. The minute you start paying interest, you're losing out.

No debt here. Whoop whoop.

We should add another Q to the poll - who do you blame for your debt?
Yourself
Or banks

U won't be able too... No credit... The notion that cash is king is untrue. In a down economy cash is king, in a up a economy cash is not king.

One of my credit cards has a limit of over $18k. In fact, after the raised the limit the last time, (they did it automatically, I didn't request it), they sent me an email a month later 'reminding' me that they raised it. I have a few others with limits around $15k. I could probably rack up $70k in cc debt if I maxed all my cards, but I'm not stupid, so I don't.

I actually only use 2 cards, my AmEx is my primary (with the $18k limit), and a Mastercard as backup for places that don't take AmEx. All of my spending goes on my cc's so that I earn rewards, but I pay off the entire balance every month.

Same. I put as much as i can on my CC for the reward points and it comes out between 500-1500 monthly, but I have it set to pay all of it automatically monthly so I'm never late or have to look at it.

What banks offer credit cards with 18k limit? Chase wouldn't let me raise my 2500 limit when I wanted to pay my tuition with it.

you need established credit and income to sustain a 18k limit

$5900 for a car

And 2 personal loans totaling almost $1500. All will be paid off by February next year. The personal loans will probably be paid off next month. But once taxes come back, oh yea that car loan is history.

Shits gonna be so nice living debt free.

0$

No credit card, no car loan, no house loan.

On the other side both my cars are shitty, renting means I won't have anything to show for years of paying someone, and there's a chance I will work shitty jobs the rest of my life.

When you actually have income an $18k limit isn't very high. I had a card with a ~$35k limit on it, not that I ever came anywhere remotely close to that. They just kept raising it because I had a high credit score (in the 800's).

As for me, no real debt except a mortgage.
