Well finally got mine fully assembled and in the car. Just need to have a downpipe made and charge pipe coming off the turbo. Needs some other small things but its very close to running!!! Once the motor is running and everything is working the way it should I will finish looming all the wiring and have it tucked away nicely.


Sittin pretty ready to go in.

Home at last!!!


A little heat shield I had made up for the drift freak motor mount on the driver side.


A shot of the heat shield installed. Fits like a glove!!!


Mocking up the HX35 w/BEP .60 a/r housing. Will be relocating the power steering reservoir. Also need to rebend one of the brake lines that will interfere with the downpipe.


Another shot of how it sits now with most of the intercooler piping hooked up and wiring run.


And a shot of how my wiring will be run through the firewall. Of course I will have grommets in place and everything will be loomed up in techflex loom. Will be routing the MAF and CAS wiring down the turbo side of the motor so it isnt run across the front like normal which I hate. I will be looming that wiring in kevlar techflex high temp loom since it will be so close to the turbo and manifold.

Its a billet plate i bought from Taarks in australia ! They only make it for sr though and it bolt right where the ac was

Hahhaah I know man funds just come and go but never for the build, you know how it is. Thanx a lot though. I am looking to have it up and running by the end of april cross my fingers lol. Ill get some video once its running and send em to you.

Yeah the piping started out as a cx racing kit so I could at least get the bends but after so much cutting and modifying it to get it to fit my IC location, avoid the intake piping, tubs, powersteering cooler and bash bar that will be there it finally fits.

Just need to add BOV, vacuum line to hot pipe, and blow by to intake.

This is what I've been working on for the past few months. Fully built ka to go into my 97. Gonna be tuned with nismotronic and shooting for somewhere over 400whp just for a fun street car.

forge bottom end + stock head
DOC Race exhaust mani
Precision 46mm wastegate
Precision 5557 ar.63

And he's making 390 whp // 400lbs at 20psi on pump gaz (on a mustang dyno)

You should get close to 400whp

Pretty darn close to my setup. Forged bottom with rebuilt head and bc 264 Cams and valvetrain. I have a 5857 .82. Will also be on pump gas with an aeromotive 340 pump and ID 1000 injectors.
