Love all the NaVaN shit I get to see here. I just bought a Zenki (the one with the AME's) with NaVaN front/sides. Picked up the rear valences today.
Going to sand down the wheels then have them refinished this week. I'll share some pictures afterwards. Trying to find the amber corner lights is killing me... What collor is this? I've been digging the 'earth tones' lately and my car is in desperate need of paint...

I'm 18 paying $133 a month for minimum coverage, but that was with like $450 down lol. And it's a sketchy company that probably won't help me if I ever need them.
Slightly back on topic,

Wait, $133 was on my S13 vert. It dropped to $128 when I got the zenki. I had a clean record but I got a ticket about a month ago which obviously hasn't done anything to my insurance yet.

Tickets/2 doors/convertible all make the cost go up. Even if they deem a 90's-era Nissan not worth shit, those things still raise the price.
I know I could use the model paint for the corners, but where's the mad tye jdm-ness in that?

Okay well I am close to 30 and I feel it is worth is since I dont pay the puberty tax.
Since some of you guys are frugal. Here is another alternative. Seeing how the average price for our car is 5k. If you pay 200 a month for full coverage. By the time 2 years pass without any inceidents, then you will have paid the cost of your car in insurence dues. Soo try this, put aside an extra 20 or 30 bucks every check, into a different bank account than your regular one, forget it is there have that shit done hrough direct deposite. Then drive safe. If something does happen, hopefully it happens after the first year, you will have a decent chunk set aside. If nothing happens, you will be saving money. It is allmost as if you are your own insurance company. True story though, if I had full coverage I would have been enjoying my car for more than a year now. The sides I have are the trust/greddy ones. So are the rears, I am running that with navan. Just waiting on mirrors, my bbk, and new wheels, as well as my one peice driveshaft, then I will be on the road again. |

So if you are a struggling student, not having full coverage could totally fuck you. I know it may seem like a unnecessary expense, imagine if something happens, and it turns out to be your fault, now you don't have a car, and are f'ed like me. If students are so worried about cost maybe you should be driving a stock civic or something. It hurts to have the one thing you car about smashed into pieces and not able to pay out of your own pocket to fix it.

Just to let you know that "aftermarket" insurance will only give you back 10% back in most cases in the event of a Total Loss. Js
