florida has a seemingly well deserved reputation for a very specific thing.
it is a reputation, maybe even a stereotype.
however, i don't see any intelligent, rational adults in this thread bashing florida without context. that would be stupid.
and most comments should be taken as jest. i don't think most people actually hate florida.
this is a public forum, just like any there will be outrageous things said for attention or to make others laugh.
keep in mind there are minimal consequences for what you type and you are semi anonymous here, so people will say some dumb stuff from time to time.
i think the bottom line is, internet words shouldn't be taken so seriously.

we are all individuals, unable to speak for anyone but ourselves. if an individual has chosen to be a biggot, that is their own right. i don't feel it should be supported by this organization however. and if i remember correctly, there is a portion in our code of conduct regarding biggotry, racism, sexism and all kinds of "isms" being intolerable. as far as i remember.

interesting that this thread has moved from simple posts meant in jest regarding horrendously assembled vehicles, to a study in social/cultural relations.
