That is so gangster... I can't wait to get my damn router replaced so I can get this!

all my NSX's were already set front heavy. hahahah.
all my drift cars are front heavy i think. its the only way i can get then to continuously drift. i dont car about speed. speed is only to get me close enough for the guy infront.
i'm stoked to see whats in the new update. i only had time today just to update. not play. damn update thing took my 2 hours of free time.

[edit] actually i wonder if all my cars really are front heavy. lol. because they feel like that to me.

right now i'm looking at my cars weight distribution

S15 is VERY centered. i'm surprised.
first NSX NA2 is Centered also. (wingless white)
grey NSX NA2 is Rear Oriented. i'm surprised cuz thats my fastest that i use in the japanese lounges. AND its weighed down
tesla is rear oriented
bone stock black NSX NA1 is rear oriented
Benz is front oriented
S13 is super front oriented. lol.
Red NSX NA1 is front oriented.
Blue NSX NA1 is centered.
Evora is centered
Skyline Sedan is front oriented
Twinnie Z is front oriented
Clio is Centered
Alfa is rear oriented. lol...i thought it was front heavy so i dumped the weight back. and now that i see that it was originally well balanced. LOL @ me.
Chameleon NSX NA2 is centered.

i'm amused at my findings. time to make major changes to some cars.

I only Time Attack street cars. My S2000 is my favorite, my BMW Z4 is my reliable anchor, but surprisingly enough, my RX-8 is the fastest & most consistent. Haven't started messing with RX7's and GTR's yet. I find the Evo's and STI's boring to drive.

Awww... Well maybe that explains why my S13 can't keep up with my S2000 and RX8 despite huge torque advantages & tons of tuning time put in. Glad we can change this now.

the S13 is unfortunately still slow none-the-less. I've spent so much time on it and I cant get my high powered s13 faster than my stock one (on tsukuba).

The unfortunate reality: The S13's chassis is too out of date to keep up with its comparably modded modern counterparts on the track.

Damn, I had the craziest sequence of events last night tandeming. The most epic drift I have done yet. Coming to the last turn on Tsukuba, I initiated a 360 drift, but I landed in the pit, but when my car was pointed in the right direction again, it popped me out of it and the little window came up and I just floored it and continued to drift (with the dude literally inches from my car). Then on the 1st turn, he decides to do a 360 drift and I went to do a reverse angle entry, and at one point our front bumpers were facing directly at each other (no touching) and I landed my line and he landed his, and we just continued drifting perfectly.

I was laughing so hard after that, brought tears to my eyes. Unfortunately, this wasn't during a race.

(btw I did this with Twinnie Z)

i have gone up against the fastest S13/S15 guys ever in the japanese lounge yesterday morning. both were in pale orange. I was having trouble keeping in sync with them.
i actually had to put a racing tranny in the NSX just to keep up. and its back to read weight distribution again. 50-50 wasnt cutting it for me. I guess i like cornering and exit speed over entry speed.
i probably will never see anoer s13 drift so fast on CH.

My main drift car is the FD, which sits very 50/50 right now. The only issue is, since it is 50/50 its not very aggresive when it comes to transitions and I have to rely on its power over balence to manji and keep going around the track.

I dont really have any issues keeping up with the really good guys in the Japanese servers, but damn Im not in sync with their tandems are close as they are with eachother.

Thinking of building a Z32 as my next project.

Z32 is a fun drift car but not that fun to tandem with if you're looking to tandem with people.
I always look for people to tandem with. (REAL CLOSELY)
I usually dont have issues keeping up in japanese rooms but there are indeed exceptions.
as for weight distribution. just balance it to how you're most comfortable with. 50-50 for me improves my ability to transition better but i lose overall drift consistency and the ability to tandem closely with much slower cars.

the update is pretty cool. i think it was last week. seemed like a major improvement of an update.

I would have rather saw other things taken care of instead of adding more content like that when I don't even see the damn guy anyway....

I don't wanna turn this into a debate thread but I wanna see some fast forward and rewind buttons in replays and standard cars allowed Into the photo mode. I don't really mind if they don't convert the cars to premium but at least let us paint stuff the way we want it. Or even change wheels on standards. How hard would it be to let us make our own graphics and vinyl?

Ok. I thought the SLS AMG was good (and it is)... But the SLR Mclaren seems to be slightly better. It's a little more heavier and in order to get the most out of it you need to be a master at weight shifting. For some reason I still can't land the last turn at Tsukuba with it. Due to the fact that it only has FIVE gears. I will probably need to customize the gears, adjusting the final speed wasn't good enough...

Damn, I just blew all my money on a Mclaren F1 thinking it would be a good drift car... It's good and all but it has one major flaw. For some reason shifting into 3rd and 4th has a 1 second delay before the clutch engages... I don't get it. I've tried messing with the gears like crazy, nothing works. But if I go from 2nd to 5th gear, itll engage instantly (obviously bogged though)... 1mil down the drain

i got yours and i tested it out immediately thinking you gave me a stock one and i was like, HOLY SHIT THIS IS TERRIBLE.
then i look at the parts and settings and was like... ohhhh. how does killer drive like this??
oh well all to their own taste. i like how (with your settings) the car just goes into a drift without needing to shift its weight or ebrake. just let go of thottle and it drifts.
but now i tuned it so it can drive how i like it.

oh well all to their own taste. i like how (with your settings) the car just goes into a drift without needing to shift its weight or ebrake. just let go of thottle and it drifts.
but now i tuned it so it can drive how i like it.
I detuned it entirely before sending it to you ... So it was on stock settings when you got it. (Stock suspension settings, but fully upgraded).

edit: If anyone has MATTE paint chips or Gold chrome please let me know... I need badly!

it wasnt stock when i got it. all i remember when i reset it was that the rear was stiffer in spring rate. slammed. uneven rebound, think it was rear softer. 3.5/2 camber. yeah something like that. but definitely not stock when i hit that reset button.

That's REALLY weird because my settings are:

Slammed.
12 F / 11 R
6 / 6 rebound
3 / 3 sway bars
2.5 F / 3.5 R camber
0.0 F / 0.20 R toe

no wonder i can keep with good tandem with you..

and i throttle smash too. i just have my cambe set enough that i have good spin/grip ratio so i can tandem close.

New NSX is still in research. gear ratios are massively messed around.
i cut my time on tsukuba by almost a whole second. Its a wonky unstable setup still though.
