As for FD cars, they're all function. We build a lot of FD coilover kits and they're so high because they need a lot of suspension travel to handle the high power, bank-to-flats etc. Again Function > Form.

Drifting is all about style. Why do you think there is judges? If your car doesn't look cool, it's not functioning imo. You can still look cool while functioning properly. See D1GP, D1SL, Drift Muscle, MSC, etc. events. Japan just does it right!

The issue with 240sxs is almost all of them are projects owned by peasants. This means they are daily projects that are constantly being modified and worked on. So while the car in the background is mulit-color, it would appear the kid is fixing wreck/drift damage or rust. In 5 years if he doesn't sell it I may one day be 1 color.

The car in the foreground however appears to be "done". However I'm not going to hate on someone for trying something new (color/graphics). I miss the SPOCOM days. Bitches today are so worried about being "OEM+" and not offending anyone.

Everybody can tell they look similar. Of course the Works are probably based off the US design. Nobody cares though. The Works look better and if they look the same to you that is totally fine as well, even though I hope you wear glasses when you operate a motor vehicle on public roadways.

If you can't see the similarities between those wheels you're the one who needs glasses. Shiny VIP style wheels, modeled after classic musclecar wheels have no place on an entry level sportscar. ANY VIP styled wheel looks out of place on an S-chasis. Now, if you wanna put those on a Q45 I wouldn't have a thing to say about it. To me it's not that they're ugly as much as they don't fit with the style/theme of an s-chasis car.

what you just said means nothing at all. I never said anything about the over all styles. I'm saying, if you had to choose, the works look way better 10 out of 10 times. It's just that simple. It's not because they are "JDM". They are probably made better also. Of course you can pick a different style of wheel lol. No one gives a shit about that choice as that is not the argument lol.
