Its junk. You would be better off buying a HPI E-10 drift, or a Tamiya TT-01D. The Exceed lineup is just a chinese garbage brand, that will be a bitch to find parts for when you break it, and will probably not last long. Exceed is kind of like the Godspeed/Emusa/Ebay of the RC world.. Just save a little more and buy a good quality car that you can buy parts for at your local hobby shop.

IMO if your gonna buy an e10 you just save the rest of the cash up and buy a sprint 2... such a superior chassis by comparison, more hop up parts available, and will be better out of the box

holy fuck 5.5t? how do you control that? I'm running an 8.5 at 50% throttle depending on tracks, sometimes i'll bring it up to 75% for a faster track.

haha thats what i was thinking!!

i had a 6400kv Orion motor and it was insane!! had to step down to a 4600 and thats still enough for most tracks.

heres a timeline of my s13 build.

wrap-up next 3d light decals applied and light buckets glued in.

custom blast pipes.

glued on blast pipes

trimmed front bumper for final fitment.

painted areo mirrors and installed wipers.

had to make some old wheels look new.

on the car and mini shoot.

start of the cage.

adding some bars.

gluing them all together and adding epoxy to smooth the joints.

airbrushed white.

first coat of yellow.

final coat of yellow.

clear coat to add depth to the yellow.

cage glued into car.

this is my dog benson. he likes race cars.

My chaser at the gas station i built. decals finished by some team-mates.

my chassis is the white one. left and right are the same chassis of some friends.

old setup no pics of the new car but hpi sprint 2 drift, had traxxas water proof brushless and custom 8 cell before lipos got big. stock body held up great, paint not so much after 3 high speed collisions the front end was gone. so i scuffed the front end and painted then wrecked and blew the back paint off and so on just kept painting panels as the old paint fell off. my buddy still has the car with this body and it looks sweet know! il post pics of my new car when i can still waiting on my s13 body from japan

99% are electric. I've seen 1 nitro, but he didn't do too well. not sure if b/c nitro or b/c sucky driver.
the insta-torque/response of electric motors gives them an advantage

I would avoid nitro unless you really want to run it. Most place are indoor so you cant run nitro. But if you are driving outdoor only its an option. Idk if there is any C/S stuff for nitro cars specially not that one

i suggest getting a countersteer ready car, C/S drifting for me is alot ore fun and twice as addicting, but it is harder

if you want a good car that can take you far look into Max Speed Technology , fair prices and they have top end chassis that compete with yoko and tamiya

MST R/C cars
Also look into Sakura D3 CS

if you have big bucks to spend:
Tamyia VDF
Yokomo DRB/DIB

to give you a taste of C/S

I tried my friend's sakura, the one that comes pre-countersteered. It's an okay chassis but it has so much oversteer. It feels like someone is pushing down on the nose and kicking the rear end around when you initiate. If you maybe reverse rake, toe in the rears, or somehow give the rear end enough traction to where you can actually throttle it to gain speed through drifts, it should be a perfect starting point. Junk the sparky tires or w/e it comes with though.

perma-popupped my corolla body so i an actually drift it at night.

Been neglecting the hobby since I came to the States, as the drift scene is pretty bad around RI... But a few bits before and after my arrival.

Oh, and this came in last week.

Currently waiting an ABC Hobby Kouki body, will see what happens.

I got this a couple years ago off a friend and broke it a few months later, the motor kind of fell apart. I wish I knew what I was doing so I could make it awesome. It's a HPI Sprint drift chassis

Drifting is a driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels, while maintaining control from entry to exit of a corner. A car is drifting when the rear slip angle is greater than the front slip angle, to such an extent that often the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn (e.g. car is turning left, wheels are pointed right or vice versa).

As a motorsport discipline, professional drifting competitions are held worldwide and are judged according to the speed, angle and line taken through a corner or set of corners

Also, have you tried the Vertex tires on the DIB yet?

Wing is Uras.

Vertex VDR-03 is very good on asphalt, lots of grip. I think VDR-02 would be better for concrete, VDR-03 was too fast. I run in small space and like slower speed drift. For big track maybe VDR-03 works on concrete too.
