FOR SURE better than stock + SE lip. The SE lip I would imagine is way brittle since it's such a tiny piece of an ornament. Whereas the navan bumper is one big piece of slightly flexible plastic. I'm not the lowest out there, but mine's taken quite some non-visible damage on the underpart without tearing and whatnot

The SE lip is not brittle by any means... Ive hit parking curbs and fair share of other items and never had more than a scratch. Infact, the SE lip is stronger than the Navan bumper, seeing as its a thicker plastic and reinforced with metal plates around the mounting edges.

Agreed, I've hit a lot of things with the stock bumper + se lip (cones, scrape exiting driveways, and a mischievous family of racoons) A stock se lip can withstand quite the abuse.

SE lip is definitely strong as fuck. I had mine ziptied onto my bumper and crashed into a curb (don't ask)... and it didn't break or fall off or anything. My car is pretty low too, definitely lower than the curb I hit.

Did the same later with my frp bumper and it didn't like it as much... obviously.

Idk about others, but personally I didn't care about the SE lip because I knew I was replacing it with a different bumper. That might be the same with others, but I dunno.

From what ive read in a thread discussing navan bumpers, stock bumper and se lip sits lower. To add on to what others have been saying, yes I can also vouch for how much of a beating these lips can take

Thanks dude, no its not tucking really. The rims are 17x9.5 +15 all around the front is at about 3 or so degrees of camber, rear is about the same. No spacers. I don't think its possible to tuck this rim size in the rear with out adding a lot more camber or pulling the fender out a bit.

The question about why se lips always look busted up, is because even at stock height S14 og owners plow in and out of driveways , then one of us buy it after years of abuse and it looks like dicks.

I'll have to get a shot of the 8 planks of 2x12 wide 5 foot planks I have to get in and out to insure my se lip and intercooler dont eat concrete.

Also - anyone have circuit sport headlight/corner lights? mine are not fitting for shit - i'll snag a pic later.

If you've ever used a fender roller, it's pretty simple. You bolt it up and roll it back and forth. Just take your time. It's not hard to get a good result if you're patient. Using a heat gun helps, of course.
