Eff you guys with your 295s...serious question tho. What would you say your min pull is to stuff them in?

Also a general FYI for the universe. 255/35r18 and 295/30r18 maintains the same tire diameter as the factory 205/55r16 that came on the SE S14.....soooo perfect stagger? I think so.

That would depend on your coilover clearance, offset, and camber setting. Mine are only pulled 1/2" or so

A larger part that plays a roll is your ride height. I have only a roll on my rear and have no issues with 285's. I could squeeze 295's back there as well. My camber settings are -1* in the rear and -1.5* in the front. From the ground to center of wheel arch(centerline of wheel) I'm at 25.75" in the rear and 25.5" in the front.

There's a gold car on here and I remember another dude from TN having a white kouki with similar size classics.

So I've gotten tired of the slammed/tucking tire look, and I want to raise the car and do more of a meatier tire/grip look. I was running 17x10+0 up front, 17x11 +6 in the back with 225/45's all the way around. +40mm front fenders and +50mm rear S13 coupe.


Now that I've raised the car a bit, obviously the tires are stretched like crazy and I'm left with a ton of room for more tire. I can't figure out what would be a good tire size to run, while at the same time not having "too much" grip. Basically I want the car to handle, but it's still built for drifting and I'm going to want to slide it here and there at the same time. If I have to I can just run a grippy tire setup for the street and grip driving, and have other sets of "spare" rear wheels with different tires for the drift events, just use spacers to push them out so it doesn't look crap.

The biggest things you need to determine are inner fender clearance up front and coil over clearance all a round. Camber will play a big role as well. I'd say a 245/255 up front and a 265/275 in the rear to start.

Being that I'm running 0 offset in the rear, and up front it's +6 offset but my flca's are extended 1.5" over stock, I've got tons of room from the wheels to the coilovers. There's no way I'd ever come close unless I changed to a much higher offset wheel.

No alignment specs yet as it hasn't been aligned. Rolled and slight pull front and rear.

The DWs run a bit narrow. I run 255/40 with 17x9 +22 and Direzza ZII on the front of my coupe too. Good stuff.

Not to get off topic but, Sales have declined over the past few years as I'm sure you're aware of. The vehicle has ran its course. It will be a sad day, but I'm sure Nissan will produce something similar in the future. Any word on a production Frontier with the baby diesel yet?

As far as I know, nothing concrete for the US market. We won't see the new Frontier that the rest of the world got this year, until at least 2017, sold as a 2018 model year. There's a chance we may get a diesel with that model.

Thanks yeah it's been ka-t for 9 or 10 years now. 3 or 4 different setups. I'm switching to AEM and hoping to get high 400s after a retune. Now it makes 367/349 at 15psi

Oh that's your car, for some reason I thought you were in TN. Bet you can put 305s in the back with your fender pull!

If anyone is looking for a meaty tire set up I'm selling my 17x9+22 17×9.5+38 RPF1 with a pair of 275/40 mounted in the rear. The fronts have 255 but they are junk. I can remove front tires.

All stock s14 fenders just a roll:
