Yeah a car just rolled into my uncles shop with a "$10,000 paint job" it looks like a $1500 paint job. I feel bad for people when this happens, but always do research on the shop and go to different shops to get quotes. Also if it burns when you pee... go to a doctor.

In my case, when my car was painted, I removed the better part of the interior (other than the dash, front two seats and carpet) the bumper, skirts, rear valances, tail lights, headlights turn signals, weather stripping, etc, etc. In retrospect, I REALLY wish I had pull the front and rear windshield seals along with the gas cap, but hindsight is always 20/20. But yeah, so I dropped the car off in it's disassembled state, swiped a piece of plastic, signed my name like three times and then making the car one color was no longer an issue of mine. I got it back in the same state that I dropped it off, with the exception of the difference in color, put it back together and was ready to rock. Looking at it from a purely financial perspective, I could have, in theory, gotten a better paint job for the same amount of money had I done more of the prep work myself, or essentially gotten the car to the point where all someone was doing was putting it in a booth and pointing a spray gun at it while pulling the trigger, but the additional 30-40hrs of my time required to do so is more valuable to me than the $600 or so I would have saved. Probably get the DMAX S15 clear sidemarkers to match my Junyans and clear headlights. If i do the sidemarkers then I will plastic weld in the sidemarkers into the bumper. I really like your konigs, i sorta like it without the steplip, makes the wheel look bigger, than if they had one. I like WORK VSXX because they dont have a step lip. |

Your name is confused and your asking how to load pictures? You need to go to photobucket and just copy and paste the direct link code from the pics you upload.
