The fact you have chrome side mirrors and no chrome anywhere else is whats hurting it imo. Do some chrome vinyl accents and do the widow trimming chrome and see what that does for it. Im not saying go crazy with it but add some so its just not red with a spot of chrome. You want a touch of it on almost every section of the car.

Although his wheels are chrome I see what you are saying. Something like this would break up the monotony.

Other things that would help include but are not limited to:
1. Tint
2. Wing GT, Kouki, Dmax or other
3. I hate to say it but with that color different wheels

I love the car but I too feel that with paint it is less exciting. Silver might have been a perfect choice.

Wheels don't always look good with any color even on the same car. I had the SSR AD's on my black car and loved them, then put them on my bluepurplegrey car and hated it. Granted they weren't fitted but I didn't bother because I knew it would suck.

Yeah I like everything besides the mirrors. Ganadors would set it off. Maybe some different wheels, but those still look pretty good.

Yeah i can agree with that the chrome mirrors need to be painted or changed out for some painted ones.
