Guess Ill feel this out since I miss it so much.

Preferred Brand of Deck, shoes, wheels, trucks, and bearings: Gotta have a 8.1 REAL deck, Independents, Bones SPF's with Shake Junt bearings I got from Jon Dickson himself. And I always had to skate Nike SB Blazer High/Lows or Janoskis

Favorite Skate video/part: Bryan Herman in Emerica Stay Gold

And what you enjoyed skating the most (as in tranny, street): Street forsure

Also if you have any photography or videos of your skating post it here: No footage of my skating but I filmed for all of my friends. My favorite videos I filmed or edited:
Street Science Skates Thrasher Double Rock - YouTube
Skateboarding- Coffee Breaks & Snackie Cakes - YouTube
Ryan Guiso Scrap Footage - YouTube
Ryan Guiso Bang yo self 3 - YouTube
Dylan Darbys ender part from CK&MH on Vimeo

Ahh, skateboarding.

Deck...whatever has a good shape and is at least 8" wide

Wheels...used to rock Hubbas, now i'm on some Bones and love em.

Shoes...just got my first pair of Adidas Busenitz, NEVER GETTING ANYTHING ELSE AGAIN

Indy or Thunder trucks only...I like lows.

Bearings...anything but reds, I have some swiss ceramics right now.

Video part...hardest question to answer.
1. Arto Saari, Menikmati for sure
2. Dennis Busenitz in anything.
3. Justin Brock in anything, hometown hero!
4. Chicagof was a pretty epic video IMO
5. Johnny Layton in Good&Evil...
Gotta have mad respect for all the teams...the black box teams, Tum Yeto teams, Crailtap teams, Deluxe teams...all of em kill it.

Austyn Unlimited - YouTube best part i've seen in a while, Austyn Gillette!

Eureka, Ca skatepark has a special place in my heart. NCSU campus, SF has some epic hills, idk. Wherever there's homies and pavement.

Also if you have any photography or videos of your skating post it here.

I loved skating whittier high school (when I lived there) they had a seven stair with a kinked rail really fun to skate over and a 9 stair.

I rode enjoi/almost decks most of the time, wear half cabs and chukka lows, active wheels, independent trucks and speed demon abec 7 bearings,

Favorite video Emerica this is skateboarding.

I always love skating skate parks just cruising around learning new tricks, and manual pads and ledges were the best.

(Discuss and post pics of anything skating.)

This is funny. Havent skated for almost 3 4 yrs and i fell off the bandwagon. I went to a bar in dtlb and ended up at Nick Garcia "welcome to the family" pro party. I was like who the hell is Nick garcia? Seen his footage in the bar they were throwing his party in and kid is ILL! Met him and hes down to earth and though he didnt know me we struck a cool convo. Felt weird since skateboarding was my life but when i got older it vanished like that.

My board setups i still remember 7.75 habitat decks or girl (same production team) 52mm wheels. swiss bearings or black panthers. grind king trucks.
shoes mike vallely's etnies the all black ones kinda similar to kareem campbells axion pro shoe. DVS "Revival". shoes were DOPE to skate in. Material lasted well.
fav video parts. deca daewons part, in bloom prods part, marc johnson in tilt mode, and zero dying to live jamie thomas part. I also like his part in the transworld video(cant think of the name of it but they used master P's song "hoody hoo!" LOL. Ohh i cant forget about josh kalis and his part in the dc video. yeeeeee.... sighh miss skateboarding now.

After not being on a board in 3 years, it started calling my name again! New setup this year is, local shop deck 8.38 (gotta support the local heads). Indys 149's, mini logo bearing and hubba's wheels. picked up some vox trooper cause they remind me of rowley classic's.

I don't think i'm hesh. Idk. I'm just a fuckin weirdo lol. I guess I like hesh shit kinda.

Haha that's sick man you ended up at his party...epic. There was a pretty epic competition at our local skateshop the other day..."best damn shop" look it up...16 shops this year, Dan Murphy, Justin Brock, Ishod Wair, Bobby Worrest, and some other pros/ams were out there doin a lil demo too.

Marc Johnson is from NC, reppin hard! Dude is epic...never does the same trick twice!

I haven't been skating as much in the past 5 years cause i've been balls deep fuckin with cars and girls and real life shit but lately i've been doing it more regularly, and i'm about to move to California in a few days and have no friends...so i'll probably skate every day lol

Just started skating again after about a 2 year hiatus. I moved to Lake Forest and live like 1/5 mile from the etnies park. I'm rusty but I can still have fun. If anything I'm getting a heck of a workout.

I get winded within like 30 mins and it takes me like 20+ mins just to warm up! (I hate getting old).

I don't even attempt to play skate with the young kids now a days. I'm man enough to admit that it'll be a massacre. I've only been doing it for around 1 week now and I go every other day (mon/weds/fri) after work.

If someone wants to meet up there I'm down. It's free and all they require is a helmet. Actually I think anyone who isn't a resident of the city has to pay a $5 annual fee for their cards.

Haha we're on the same boat, I may just be 18 but I can't recall the last time I skated that wasn't just flat ground or something and I still go to the park with my friends who are still really into it but I get tired out lol. And I live in lake forest too! You ever go to laguna hills skatepark?

Not really.. I hate that place. It's too small and the transitions are terrible.
I'm more of a street skater and that place is super lacking in that dept.

An 18yr old getting winded fast?!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU! When I was 18 I would have full day sessions not including the driving we did to different spots.

I'd kill to be 18 again (just turned 30 )

Haha true true, lot of scooter kids go there too.

I think it's mostly because between 2 jobs, school, an internship, and many previous years of practicing flip tricks non stop my ankles and joints just say "nah, I don't feeeeeeel like it." I think I just need to exercise a lot more too but damn I need to find time to. Haha

Skating in fall.. best time of the year to do it. Every time fall hits it doesn't matter how long it's been since I've been on a board. I dig it out and go ride.

I picked up another board just a couple of days ago. I've been off the board since 2010. I never was good, but i enjoyed skating the flatground practicing flip tricks.

anyways, my new deck...
I'll probably regret skating this deck, but whatever. I already started.
Hello Kitty x Girl Mike Carroll deck
Thunder trucks
Spitfire bearings
Girl "Pretty Sweet" wheels

my brother's kosten board.

I'ved always skated, since I was 10. It's tough to do as much anymore but I still love it and it's always been my favorite thing to do.

Favorite spots I'd say for me were always fun little ledges in the streets, or wallies, banks, manny pads to a drop.

Setup I always ride is bones stf wheels, bones reds, thunder trucks and any deck I can get ahold of (haha)

I always enjoy riding skateparks because of the tranny/street mix, but I'm always game for both no matter what.

photo from a while back..

haha posing but i thought this photo has always been funny

I love raw clips with no music. Good vibe to it.
