doing it (your car) right doesn't really have as much to do with driving skill as everyone would believe.

Im trying to understand some of the posts in here, because some of the cars on here honestly aren't that bad. I understand the haggard pieces of shit, but if you aren't into stance you're doing it wrong? I think the "hoonigan aint care" mentality is retarded, but so is the "needs more low" mentality

but tilting the wheel as much as possible creating an even worse wheel gap for good times.. not so much.

Very true, but i'v said it before.. would we rather mint as fuck cars hardparked at dunkin donuts that have never seen a track in their life, or would we rather a car that could be good but due to track abuse/crashes whatever other reason it looks like shit.

In my opinion this is a big difference between a ratchet car that is made to look like that for the sake of looking like that, and a car like that drift car that has a chopped bonnet to fit the LS1, has crazy offset wheels that poke i assume so he can get decent lock, and has ill fitting panels because they get knocked off at every event he attends? People don't just become good drivers, it takes years of crashing and smashing to get to a level that is good..

Ratchet cars and the like are terrible because they make their cars look like that but still hardpark them, but i'll be damned if people hang shit on people because of how their car looks after scrubbing doors with someone at 100mph sideways.. The average joe isnt a millionaire, so their car is going to look shitty if its used at a race track..

That's not doing it wrong, that's just not having the money to do it perfectly.. I time attack my car, so it sees tyre walls/barriers/sand traps on a regular occurrence. I'm not going to constantly spend 400 bucks on a new front bar/paint every meet just so that i can go out and drive like a bitch because im worried about my new front bar..
