I was really hoping they'd change the quarter window so that you could actually see through it rather then just that small awkward shaped space now. Too much of that dark tint or whatever it is. Other than that, I think this car is tits. It'll do great once on the market.

I'm not a fan of the gas cap either, but it's not enough to ruin it for me.

^^Wow now that I actually see it in comparison to a human, it looks way smaller than the 350z. That rear quarter shot looks good to me, but is it me or does that gas lid look oversized?!

gas lid looks like it's got a different shade of paint or it isn't sitting at the correct angle.

Yeah the new Maxima is another example. Hated it in the pics, but in person it looked sleeker to me.

its wierd the pics previous to this when it was at the ring and black looked dope. This is looking awkward on the rear half. I have to wonder who shot the pics and what kinda of camera because it appears to be fish eying. Which actually would skew the look of the car a lot. Well I guess I have to wait a few weeks and see it in person.

I will say it looks like it is going to have nightmare blind spots.

In fact the first two pics definitely were taken poorly. The car is like 4 inches shorter than the current model yet those pics are making it look long as fuck. Nissan took the wheelbase back to 99 inches those picks do not look like 99 inch wheelbase. I cry foul on the pics.

I really dislike the tail lights - hopefully they will look better in person. The follow the Z site says it will be in Atlanta december 6, maybe I will try to catch up to it then.

Until then, I gotta say my Z looks better ;-)

uhm... the car looks fine. None of us can judge a car by its pictures that we see on our computers in all of its 2dimensions. They never do a car and its intended visual affect justice. Look at the new GTR for instance.

The 370 looks decent.. the lights are scary at first glance, but I am sure it looks fantastic in person. I hated the new MAX when I saw it in magazines.
Then I saw it in person and I shit my pants...! Its gorgeous.

... oh, and BMW has been at the forefront of "lightweight design" since, they started making cars. (ie: lightweight assembly bolts) Also, All of their cars are "Sport" models. Save for the most recent format of the 7 series. But they are expensive and, Unfortunately cars gotta get bigger, because people get fatter, (America) which makes it harder to still be progressively lighter. (across the board)

I like the overall lines, but the details are killing me. Those headlights still look like complete crap, that 'flap' looks completely contrived and just tacked on. Maybe they will look good from one angle, but from every other angle they look retarded. Rear tail lights are nicely shaped, but too big. And those rear fender bulges are just too large. The car has become a caricature of the 350z. Interior looks kind of cheap, too.

I was really, really looking to make this my next purchase, but based on the photo's I have seen so far I'm not 100% certain anymore. I am still reserving my judgment until I see it in person. there are quite a few details that are screaming out "unfinished" to me, but I also am not a fan of the flagship color. Some new colors and a better stance may change this car entirely. I'll just have to wait and see.
