DM doesn't sell the inspection covers on the bellhousing. You have to just get lucky and find them :/

*Someone needs to get them copied and sell them.

Need your help to purchase an aftermarket wiring harness for a 2JZ. There are only a handful of companies that make the product. Can someone provide some input on their purchase with either of the following companies?
  • Wiring Specialties
  • Tweakd Performance
  • Other - please share the info
  • Chase Bays - eliminated due to lack of customer support!

Thanks!

I've got wiring specialties on my 2jz / S13 and it's great - Yuri is always available for any tech support you may have as well which has been awesome

I got my tweakd harness last Thursday. Cam and josh are both very great people. And always there to help out. I've also heard alot of good things with wiring specialties. Don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Chasebays is really a hit or mis. Heard more bad than good. Mostly backward pin outs.

I got my tweakd harness in less than a week. Even called multiple times to change things.

Not for me. It has been a fucken nightmare trying to get some preliminary questions answered and getting the order lined up. I don't care what line of business you are in, providing customer service or sales consultation via email only is a joke! Apparently others have similar experiences: http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?p...90#post5573890

I will give Wiring Specialties and Tweakd Performance a call tomorrow. Thanks for the insight guys!

It looks like the V160 inspection covers are similar. They are only around $30-$36 from Toyota. Can anyone confirm or deny if they are the same or would at least work?

Thanks. It's a knock off. Didn't want to spend too much on something that's going to get damaged loading/unloading.

I know this is a question most people would ask me, as i seem to be one of the few Automatic guys. But has anyone with an auto been able to get the reverse lights to work? I haven't messed with getting them to work EVER, but the more i drive the car on the streets the more i would like to have them working. Just not 100% sure on how to wire it up to work. Any insight before i start digging into the FSM / TSRM ?

Wire it up normally.

Then take the output wire(brown i think) and connect it to the wideband/afr input on the aem.

It's really easy man. AEM is the shit.
