I would love to use the cd009 but the fact that the shifter sits (4in from my understanding) further back bothers me. I need to find out which years are the worst and how to identify by looking at the trans. Found this on the supra forums

---------------------------------------------------------

Pro's are its a close ratio gearbox just like the v160. so acceleration will be far better than an r154 and RPM drop will be less than the r154 the getrag 6 speed gears are:

Supra MKIV
First gear: 3.827:1
Second gear: 2.360:1
Third gear: 1.685:1
Fourth gear: 1.312:1
Fifth gear: 1:1
Sixth gear: 0.793:1

350z 6 spd ratio's
1st 3.794
2ed 2.324
3rd 1.624
4th 1.271
5th1.000
6th .794

----------------------------------

If anyone has an IACV for a 2jzgte I need one as mine is not working properly

^^^Don't feel bad, I have one that is missing a small chunk out of the ring land. A fuel line popped off while I was doing a test run.

*I'll post mine when I get back home.

Throttle cable

Has anyone found a solution to a shorter throttle cable on a stock intake manifold?

I have been reading that a mid 90's Camry with 4 cylinder is the ticket. Not 100% sure on that yet though.

So I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new AEM series 2 ECU setup for $900, for a 2jz-GE.... My wiring harness is already wired for using a 2j-gte ECU, so I believe it would plug in fine, my question however is would it be possible to run my 1jz off of the 2j-GE AEM unit?

Anyone know of a sway bar that will clear a JZ Swapped S-Chassis with a Nismo Power brace? I can't see one working... considering selling the Nismo power brace and putting a sway bar on the car, and having a brace built using the stock parts.

I think im on the 8psi spring and I don't have any flutter, but I would probably need to double check that!

Gte has a bunch of extra stuff for coil on plug and turbo stuff, and a few other things, best bet would be to compare the 2 pin outs from AEM and swap/rewire everything your self, Chase bays can't get a stock harness to work much less one not using the right ecu
I believe the oem replacement supra TT harness we used had 24pins out of place from Chase bays, sent it back still same problem, found pin outs and fixed it our self, s13/2jz swap harness from them had all the same problems, plus all the chassis wires where wrong as well ,a harness from them is about as usefull as tits on a duck and there customer service is about as good as a 4 day old tuna fish sandwich you forgot to take out of your car.

The jumpers in the ecu will also be wrong, you will have to change them your self or send the ecu to aem and have them change all the jumpers to run COP

Have had no problems with the wiring specialties or the tweek harnesses, have had problems with many Chase bays including one for a Honda which is the easiest harnesses in the world to make work, unless you forget to put in the power harness and install the wrong size pins in the ecu plug which is what they did.
Try figuring that one out, every thing pins out correctly, but nine of the pins in the plug make physical contact with the ecu only took about a month to figure out lol if you plan on buying a Chase bays harness send you your money Ti me and I will send you the stock harness out of my neighbors 93 Chevy astro van, it may not look nice buy will work just as well as the Chase bays

That's pretty funny, ive had 0 issues with my Chasebays harness or their customer service.... It was originally built for 1j/1j ecu, no problems.... then sent it back for 1j/2j ecu, ran for awhile no problems.... Broke a pin and wasn't sure where it went, they emailed me back within 4 hours....

Guess im lucky
