Any chance someone could do the 6666 silvia without overfenders? Solid color preferably so it's easier to see how the lines from the bumpers flow (or don't flow) into the rest of the car. I want to run this kit, but I generally don't like overfenders. Might look weird without them though.

I dont think you could get a shop'd picture to make it look like it would in real life. Youd be better off finding pictures of someone testfitting the kit in a pic request thread. Solid idea for a shoop though, id like to see someone try.

At another glance of the pictures, ot looks like it would look just fine without the overfenders. Go for it, it seem like it would look sleek without the wide look.

Thanks for the tip about the pic request thread; I'll probably do that.

I was thinking it'd look ok, but a friend pointed out that, from bottom to top, the bumpers get wider and have that little lip that steps out from the side of the car. So his thinking was that, without the wide fronts and rear overs to carry that line up and through the fender arch, it may look a little odd. Now he has me second-guessing myself.

Where the shops done with silvia fenders or did you just fill in the gaps? It looks to be filled in, which may give it a different look. Just curious

Yes I just filled them in. I'm working on a version where I'm replacing the actual fenders with oem metal. The wheels will be different to maintain proper fitment.

Those were just stamped-in to match rgb. If you wanted to use those pictures as a reference you'd better roll and pull the shit out of your fenders.

Like i said; it would take a pro to really make it look like you REALLY want it, and i mean, that would cost you some dinero. Just pic request test fits to get real results.

OP, youll NEVER get that request to look even SOME-WHAT realistic on zilvia... Only actually doing it will give results.

Take that advice or leave it.

I totally agree. I use this thread to better my amateur skills so I'm trying it just to progress.

And yes, I know Soulessphoto's 240 (the second 240) is basically mine except black, but he has a sunroof, different taillights, slightly different setup on his wheels, and I'm a picky bastard.

2. and then the same black but also paint the Battles a sort of plastidip black, por favor.

Basically like these plastidipped black Battles in the picture:



3. And then same request except the body charcoal gray. Charcoal gray body, leave the wheels alone.

4. And then the same charcoal gray body with plastidip black Battles.

(already showed you the black I want on the wheels)

Well, according to the thread where I got it from, the dude says he painted them aqua blue OVER plastidip, so it's removable, which I just realized is pretty smart!!
