I put an order in for the LHD Euro kouki headlights with Mav a few months back. The wait is long, but it's worth it considering YAJ is selling old broken RHD sets for $600+ before taxes and shipping. I'm also a stickler for having the correct headlight cutoff.

S13 Silvia fenders, S13 Silvia corner lights, S14 zenki/kouki EUDM headlights, and several others are all falling into the same pattern:
I am leaving out some details about this process but one of the things I've accidentally exposed is how inefficient and archaic Nissan's relationship is with their parts supply chain vendors, and how badly Nissan has managed their own internal parts system and how distributers procure parts from Nissan. The biggest problem is this: when Nissan accepts my PO, I have to pay an 80% deposit via my supplier. When Nissan cancels a PO or parts on order on a PO, the deposit money is rolled over to future orders.... ... meanwhile, I cancel the order with the customer and refund them in full. At this point I have about $150k sitting overseas doing nothing for me. As I've said in other threads, if I took this money and parked it in the stock market or crypto I would've retired already. Everyone that has ordered will get an update from me later this month. Everyone else, email me...

I can't believe that I've been a member of the forum for 10 years and I never posted my S14. Probably because it was always "under construction" lol
1998 S14 SE (5-speed converted) - Still has a KA Suspension mods (Fortune Auto 500 coils, SPL arms F&R, Nismo Power Brace, OEM Autech Front Strut Bar, Nismo Rear Strut Bar) Z32 F&R Brake Upgrade R33 GT-R Wheels OEM JDM Aero Goodies (Autech front & fenders, JDM rear bumper + valences) Euro Kouki Headlights Reinhard Dual Tip Exhaust Autech S14 Interior Bits (Door Panels & Rear Seats) Recaro SR2 seats I have a few more OEM Optional pieces that are not currently on (OEM JDM Kouki Lip, Navan Side Skirts, etc.) Yes I know that the S14 is multiple colors. Plans are to have the car completely resprayed (same DN1 color code) down the road.

People outside of buying a handful of parts really have no idea how massive and complicated the OEM supply chain is. They don't care about people buying $100k of parts, they care about the $1M-100M per year type of customers. People also fail to realize that car manufacturers actually make maybe the sheet metal in-house when build a new car, almost everything else is made outside the factory. Once a car is out of production the OEM parts suppliers typically have parts fulfillment contracts that are only renewed as long as the manufacturer is willing to pay for it.

Although I may be a drifter and have thrashed these cars pretty hard over the years, I actually really do care about the cars so I took it upon myself to save one that has been sitting outside my buddys shop for almost 2 years and was about to be scraped. Buying a car in this condition and restoring it is a daunting task but I feel good knowing that once Im done it will be one more s-chassis back on the street that otherwise would have gone to scrap. Hopefully I can restore more of these doomed cars in the future. Dont let them sit guys, save the ones that need it.
Where im at with it now; If you are interested in this build stop by youtube channel, I am doing a detailed build series from start to finish with content uploaded weekly. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4B...ZcP4i4tZJLiCNQ |

Dude that is super nice! I've never really wanted a kouki, but that is precisely how I'd have mine if I ever picked one up. Looks rad!

Have you ever considered getting the OEM sides/rear valences for the car?

Stock suspension with RS-R lowering springs. The car came like this but was otherwise not modified beyonf the TEs I recently posted and the audio components. All the original parts (head unit, springs, etc) were included in the sale. I'd like to source some side skirts but I don't really want to mount them. I like the '0-aero-parts' look.

Also, I never realized how small the Spec-R OEM width and offset is. What's the usual safe rim size for no roll? 8.5"-9" with a +31? |

I have no intentions of changing anything on the body. I'll just be adding the SpecR bolt-in braces and maybe a set of SpecR brakes. If I get the sides, they're just to keep and avoid the inevitable mark-up (to the already existing mark-up) and I'd probably get the rear spats from Nissan too.
In all honesty ALL of the inspiration I got for an EV1 was from old videos of '0-aero' yellow cars. I don't think the aero bumper would actually look good on EV1. Quote:
I don't know what the safest size is for stock body w/roll. I was running 17X9+22 on both cars and it would rub under the 'typical' scenarios. I just got some 17X8.5+30 wheels and I'm willing to bet they're still gonna cause similar problems if/when I use them. The car was on those 17X8.5+40 (w/5mm spacer) TE37SLs I posted for sale and didn't rub when I was driving to work.

It looks good, but the optional aero bumper is a must-have for me on a s15. And then of course youd need the skirts and rear spats to complete the look. I'm a greedy man..

VS6s are super cool in 16". I had a couple sets before and sold them like an idiot. If I can sell a SpecR and the parts/wheels I currently have I'm going to 'fix' some of the mistakes I've made and getting a set of VS6 is on the top of that list lol.

Not sure what counts as + but besides the lip, aero is all oem. Dropped right now with dmax coils and voodoo arms. Stock sr20 with some bolt on's. Hard to get a good pic of this car. Silvermoss looks great when the sun is bright but the lmgt4's can't be seen otherwise.
