Wish i had a pic of mine, gold with clear coat. everytime you rub your hands on the valve cover, you get gold flakes in your hand.

prismatic and tiger drylac can make custom powdercoat colors for you.
prismatic has a great gold called sun gold and the wrinkle effect is just a chemical added to the powder that makes it wrinkle. try sending one of those companys a email and see what they can do for you. ive gotten multiple custom colors that came out great. good luck

haha yea, i thought about doing the intake manifold like that too but ended up changing my mind and leaving it silver. Your bay looks good!

looks like red base with a spray paint called clear effects that you can get at any local parts store, its like $12.99 a can or so it'll do an entire valve cover.

close, the base is a copper color from Lowes (rustoleum brand maybe) and then the clear effects over it, and then just some regular clear on top of that.
