Holy crap! Since when has the High Desert had a thread on Zilvia? Hells yes son, I've been looking for somwhere to boast about mi caro without some redneck in a 96 lifted Silverado telling me how shitty my car is. Well....when it's actually on the road. I'm actually almost done after about 2 years and 15k later so it's actually coming along nicely. If my car is done I'll def be at the next meet. Just let me know where and when.

last time i was there was probably a month or so, it starts every friday night at 9...I would still go if my car was still running. OSR is a shop in hesperia that had a dyno day a few months back. They mostly specialize in jap cars and the sr20det.

Injectors and ecu went in yesterday...and the bitch started right up. Idles a bit high. I need to make sure my timing is right. My only question is whether or not to cut out my HKS EIDS. Im not sure if it will make a difference wih the Wolfe ecu.

hahahah nah dude I've just been busy with work and working on my car..i can't do anything right now, it sucks. Sorry if I didn't return your calls I must've missed them while i was at work or something.
I'm trying to get my car up in two weeks, let's see if I can do it. If I find a local ka tranny for cheap i can probably get her done a lot quicker. |

So i happened to be by lowes tonight, had dinner at Mimi's cafe. I thought it was a spot for just the s-chassis ppl but it looked like there were a bunch of hondas and vato-mobiles. I would have stopped to have a closer look but my very pregnant wife wanted to go home.

So, the car ran like a beast for all of 2 days... then on my last day in the HD I went in BestBuy came out and no start AGAIN. This time no click. So i had it towed home where the bastard will sit and think about what she has done for the next 6months. I bet it fried this ecu too. I cant figure why. I guess I'll find out for sure what happened this January.

^just checkin
my shortblock is done! Now I'm just waiting for my head and then everything else can go back on. I still have a lot to do but the progress is what counts. i also picked up a s13 tranny for 100 bucks today just to spare me the PITA of rebuilding my old tranny so maybe I can get my car running within two weeks??? |

Yeah, definetly a bitch. Terminals are clean. My wife tells me she went back to the same Best Buy and parked in the same spot that i did in the 240, when she came out my tuck wouldnt start either... same symptoms. Although it turned out for her that the battery magically cam loose. Not the case with my bitch ass car.

a fuel related issue such as flooding or insufficient fuel pressure could cause a hard start. Or it could be an ignition issue, hard to tell really. You should do a tune up(new cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires) if your car hasn't had one in a while.
