pictured front tire size is 245/40/18, but doesn't look much different with 255/35/18, except it fits the wheel whole lot better and on the car. Yes my car is ready for Baja5000 race, just on Tein S-Tech and KYB GR-2's...I don't think I'll ever go back to coilovers. So over being low and not being able to go anywhere like a normal person. edit: found another picture that you guys will find more useful than my lowering spring setup. 18x9.5+15 245/40/18 (about -3.5 camber, 1/8th toe out combined) 18x10+38 275/35/18 (0 camber, 0 toe, yes it's possible to tuck 275/35/18's in rear with 0 camber, I've done it)

I have never launched the car in the last 7 years ownership, so I don't know about launch hook. I'm pretty sure I can brake the 275's loose if I clutch kick hard enough with my stock KA. but what I can tell you is that I do notice significant improvement in grip in all aspects due to the increased suspension travel over the Stance GR+ coilovers I had before the Tein S-techs.
I will never knock on lowering springs ever again and will always recommend people to it over coilovers. Got body roll? get bigger sway bars, simple. I'll be installing my Sikky sway bar's in front here with in next month time or so to go along with my whiteline rear sway bars. thanks for the compliments on the car guys. just for shits and giggles...throw back 2011! pretty much identical cars I made...even down to same exhaust(Circuit Sports cat back.) Fuck I miss having cool choices.

Now is not my time to beautify Nor-Cal. I am tired of being broke and telling myself "I really want nice tires but I can't afford it for few month", I want to be able to just say "I think I need new tires...R888's ordered" kind of income before I make it look cool again.

Thats the old Origin aero I had, still rocking the Dmax till I can sell it and get something new. But unfortunately yes, the D1 spec coils are the main issue for the rear and the headers now factory in with the front. I'd like to be at Smashed's ride height but until I get some kind of tri-y headers made for the LS or ditch the long tubes and run modified shorties or stock manifolds I just don't see being able to pull off being super low with a 4" collector hanging under the car. The plan is to picking up some GKtech rear knuckles to help with the rear a bit and I'm going to try and shim the engine/trans up a little now that I sold the hood and the new one should allow for some extra room.
I don't think it sits to bad for a street car but I'm so used to seeing slammed Dmax kits on S14's that I feel like I have a gasser in a land or F1 cars lol. |

Have been contemplating buying your dmax kit, but the fact that streetdancer (steve) is rocking dmax kind of keeps me from doing it. I can't keep duplicating his car haha
