i think i've done one of these but it was a long time ago before i actually had an s chassis. name is Evan, i live in Florida (this place is awful). pretty much got bored one day and wanted to see if i could peice together an s13 out of parts from people i know. kinda spiraled out of control so now i have a '90 coupe with a bolt in cage, section coils, bride bucket, cool wheels, etc.

I'm Zak, have been stalking this site for a little over a year reading everything and anything on 240s I can find. Figured I'd finally make my own account and join the fray.

Personal stuff is short and simple. Do not own a 240 or anything else right now, I'm researching my birthday gift to myself this year, which will probably be a much drooled over 240. I'm leaving for the military in a few months, and their paychecks will be financing my hopes and dreams.

zup ppl, name is arrrvin. friend actually recommended to join if i wanna learn more about the s chasis... eventhough i work as a mechanic for a nissan dealership, i dont kno much about 240s. just got my 1st 240 last week, an s13 w/ auto tranmission (for the moment, that is)... so ill be picking on some ppls brain and hope to learn more about the S chasis and maybe the Z for work purposes =)

want new OEM parts, just PM me i might get it a lil cheaper

see if u can get meh a open diff for my 92 z32 as i want to weld it. i am running a vlsd now its in great working shape but i want to get a little more serious with the sliding. thx

You might regret that, especially if your z is your DD. PO of my Z welded the diff and trust me it is soooo annoying. Small speed turns, reversing, pulling out of a driveway. It's all utterly annoying. It makes the car rattle, bump, chug, your tires wear even quicker as well. If you're not driving straight or drifting, it's counterproductive. I actually want to source an open diff or vlsd cuz I can't handle mine anymore and I've only had my Z for two weeks. Either save your money for a legitimate LSD or stick with your VLSD

haha having a welded diff is not that bad if u wanna go sliding quick, a lil bit annoying but you'll get use to ur wheels hopping every turn u make lol..... so do u want a brand new open diff jus to weld it???? and would u sell ur vlsd to me.... but ill ask around my work if i can find u a used one and ill get a price for a new one for u too..
