It is recommended that if you have a true factory two-tone that you keep it the original color scheme all throughout its life. If you choose to do another two-tone combination that is not 1 of the 3 factory two-tone schemes, we here at the TTPS recommend getting a solid color coupe for converting over.

For example, one of my favorite JDM schemes is the Sandstone Beige / Dark Grey Metallic (#KG4/#463). Bonus points if you already have a #KG4 coupe and you paint the bottom half #463 to make it a two-tone! Or you can get creative and create your own two-tone, but sometimes that can be a disaster if you lack style.

I really would love a custom colored two toned, same grey for the bottom, just can't do the green, tried to wet sand and compound to at least try to save the original paint but had to much damage and rust in some areas to save. Saved the car from getting crushed really, the previous owner wasn't the ideal s chassis owner, they cut out the firewall to try an fit a older sbc sadly but couldn't argue the price.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that car around before, I think that the original owner of that car was a NOVA local. If it is the same car I'm thinking of its fantastic in person.

The NoVA guy was in the military and imported it here. I was trying to get it shipped to me but this fuckboy from TN bought it when I couldn't get shipping sorted with the bank. I'm just pissed it even fell into his hands. I hope it goes to a good home...

Its worth the new guys asking price imo, I would try to sort something out with him. I don't have any desire to own another rhd car but If I did, I would be looking to ditch my current two-tone project and scoop that one up. It would be the cheaper option...

It's not worth that price. It was sent back her for free via the military and the deal the previous owner was working with me would have been for under $10k shipped to CA. I'm not arguing the price even though I wouldn't pay the current one. I'm just upset that some dude brought a unicorn-esque car back here solely to flip it and sell it to the first fuckboy/fanboy that coughed up the dough. That's how these things get ruined: 'business' men sell them to anyone for a quick $4k.

She's a work in progress, 97K miles, picked it up in near stock condition other than some JIC rear coils, Tanabe front coils and a horrid ISIS catback... So Far I've 5 lug swapped it, welded a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator in the exhaust to calm it down, threw Z brakes on the front and finished it off with some 17x7 and 17x8 FN01R-C's. Big things to come

Thanks! I want to do a Silvia conversion eventually, but my headlight still go up and down so the damage doesn't really bother me.

Still has a single cam that runs very strong. It'll be out in the next few weeks though to make room for something with 2 more cylinders

Grip for sure! I don't have power goals with the car, as of right now. With the single cam its a blast to throw into corners at 45mph and can't really get me in trouble. I do want more power, but I'm not looking for anything crazy.

I did pick up some new wheels last night though, something a bit wider and better suited for the car.



LMGT2's 17x9 +35 for all 4 corners, hopefully with 255's on each once they are refinished. I actually picked up six of them, two of which I will be stealing their faces to make a pair that are 17x9 +20 in order to clear Z brakes up front without a spacer. I'll eventually need two more to convert the rears to 17x9 +20 set, but I'm not really worried about it right now.

Sort of like a reverse of the "Black Gold" 280ZX...I think it would be really nice.
