Finally able to join this thread that ive been lurking on for the better part of a year.. not much to look at. completely stock auto says SE on the back but it has an open diff and no sunroof. and no abs?

lowered on tien s tech springs which makes it bounce stupidly. i think the shocks are bad too.

open diff and no abs pretty common afaik on se. mine didnt have either. no sunroof a little less common on an se.

your car is obviously an se though

Because lip and fog lamps? ran the vin before hand and it also said SE so i know it is one. but its like... wheres the sport edition in the kar?

Definitely an SE, but if you want to be extra sure, do you have variable speed intermittent wipers? If yes, no doubt it's an SE, and a fairly rare one at that being a hard top

it does.. I got it purely based on it having five lugs and a hard top. so imagine me shocked when it was an SE cloth interior oo

Funny you guys bring up the variable speed intermittent wipers,
My S14 was base of base model. 4 lug, no cruise control, no fog, no vsiw, no factory sunroof, no OEM stereo amp.
All I did was buy the SE model wiper controller and plugged in the speed timer i think from altima or maxima into my existing harness by the wiper motor and bam, i got me a WSIW.

Yep, did the same on my friends car because even if it still only had one speed, the base wiper stalk looks so dumb

Well consider yourself lucky because mine is the base model with cruise control, power locks, ABS and a sun roof. Wish I had fogs, but that could be put on, I hope.

BUT if I had to do it over, I would search for an SE only for the 5 lug because mine had to be put on by satan himself.

If anyone's wondered how long those lights will hold up, I had my CS/Touge Factory Lens covers since 2007. Very very slight "hazing" on them, but still clear compared to new. My car doesn't live in a garage either.
