Thanks guys. I don't have any major updates at the moment. Just been tweaking my suspension, trying to get it all back together so I can put the motor back in (I took it out to beat out the transmission tunnel some more and bought some washers to space the motor up a little, to get the oil pan above the subframe).

Once the suspension is bolted back together, the wiring will commence. Then the exhaust will be built and it'll be tuned and I'll be driving it. I know I am going to run into some snags along the way from little crap I will need that I have forgotten about - but it should be running sometime in August!

Yes, the plan is to be at Driftwater in September, then VIR in October.

I just need to stop rolling people's fucking fenders every time I go to work on my car. Its just really hard to turn down the $$$, especially when I need it to buy shit to finish the car! Its a fucking double edged sword!

I'll build you a set if you don't mind waiting a few months for me to get all the parts together and what not. My friend's shop does powder coating now so I could get them done whatever color you want. It takes ~8-10 hours of labor to take the damn things apart and put them back together, not to mention the time it takes to take them to the machine shop to get the hub bored out to fit over a 240 hub and what not.



Thanks for the complements guys, I don't make a lot of money or this thing would have been done months ago. I just keep reminding myself the details matter and that I'll be extremely happy when it is completed.

It depends on what you can find the actual wheels for. The lips will run ~11-1200 and the machining around 150, then however much to get them powdercoated.

I've been lucky and been able to get the base wheels for dirt cheap two times in a row now. I've also been able to pay for the RSs by selling my old wheels - the Regas paid for a large chunk of the new RSs and I bought and sold two sets of other wheels to pay for most of my black RSs.

^^^ Almost, its just getting the center hub of the wheel bored out so it fits over the 240 center hub. The 240 hub is ~66.7 or something and the hub bore on the RSs I've gotten are ~60mm.

No, they're all different. Some of them are Nissan hub bore already, but the 17X7/8 +45/+50 are not. They make GTR sized ones - 17X9 +20 - but you can't add a huge lip to them without making them super low offsets.
