It probably would be up as long as we have power and the cable company is still providing services. I couldn't help it. I'd have to check to see who's left.

So I traded rec for world war z with a coworkers. Really good "read" (it used the audio book cuz I lazy, lol) and I has a question.
Suppose the redekar plan was employed by your local government. You get selected as "worthy of saving" but your family and friends are deemd "worthless" to a new society. They instead going to be put in camps to be used as live decoy zombie bait while the "worthy" retreat and regroup. What would you do?

its like $12 from amazon, sold at commerical bookstores. very very easy to read and entertaining. I went through it in 2 days. Usually takes me over a week to get through a 300 pg novel.

on the topic of zombie books, I read " day by day Armageddon" and "world war z" based on your recommendations. I just finished "plague of the dead: the morningstar strain," and it's pretty good. But I liked day by day better because it was an account of one man's struggle to live. Now only if they would come out with the next one in the series.

the morning star series is authored by Z. A. Recht. Yesterday I picked up the next in the series: thunder and ashes. It picks up off where plague left off and goes into detail one of the parts left out.

Day by Day was a pretty fun book. had a great survival element going with it, and was super easy to read. finished it in two days, and kinda keeps you wanting to read more.
however, the writing style is a bit too matter of fact-ly. It's like reading a technical manual almost, and felt impersonal. hopefully the author will improve on this. WWZ was a lot more entertaining, esp the docu/mockumentry element to it but Day by Day is a decent read too. Might start reading 'The Road' next. Seems to have good acclaim as an apocalyptic novel. no zombies unfortunately, but a healthy dose of cannibalism should make up for it somewhat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Road_(novel) |

It's pretty good but kinda slow in the beginning. American Zombie |

Day by Day Armageddon was pretty damn good, in my ever-so-humble opinion.
I disliked that it had something of an abrupt ending, but the author promises to continue the story, so I'm hopeful for that. I'll be reading The Road soon enough - it's not a zombie novel, I'm just a fan of post-apocalyptic stories. After doing a little reading up on the book itself, I was floored to hear about all the praise lavished on it already.

Thanks again ronmcdon.
Email is [email protected] Please and thank you Off topic: I just watched shaun of the dead again yesterday. I'm trying to put it on my phone so I can watch it at work! Btw, is there any copies of REC that has the subs copied onto the film? I think when you d/l the torrent on it, it comes with another file containing the subs and you need another program to run and sync the subs while you play the movie. That's way too much extra stuff I don't want to do. Thanks
