Finally got the ARC intercooler welded up and installed





The weight difference between the ARC and stock is a huge difference feels like 5 lbs if not more

Holy crap this sucked.... Had my Turbo coolant feed line acquire a pin hole leak....

Had to pull the SMC, starter, and front drive shaft, and wire harness to get to it, even with all that I could barely get one hand in there.

Took me 4 hours to change this one hose.

too bad 85% of ya'll will never know this hell.... unless you own a Z32.

but while I was at it I installed the Nismo Slave, and wow what a difference that made, pedal feels ssoooo much lighter

I had one of those hoses blow on my GTS-t. Its not as time consuming to replace as on a GTR but it is a PAIN.

GD all this Arc goodness. I really want one of those radiator diffisure plates if you ever come across one LMK. I just picked up a set of ARC F+R sways for my R32, very excited to get on installing all the goodies.


PS holy crap. that guy must have owned something good. did he hit a brick wall or something? is that the DP in the cabin by the harness or what is that mangled piece of aluminum tubing?

yep, that was me . I got them through fromjapan. They were $48+$130 in shipping to the US. It was pretty stupid cheap still even still with shipping. Will pair nicely with my Greddy Type S coils I just picked up.

If you do come across one of those ARC radiator plates, please LMK. I almost broke down and bought the Mines one last week, but had spent just a wee bit too much already on parts and was trying to behave as much as humanly possible.

Ps YAJ needs to set up a direct deposit. It would be much more convenient to just have my boss send the checks there....lol

Those ARC panels are all over YAJ. Depends if you wanna spend 25,000¥ on a new one or not.

I got lucky and bought one BNIB at the GT-R festival for 15,000¥

Haha I know the feeling, I'm pretty much on there everyday looking for parts and trying to stop myself from spending my whole pay check in one day.

Really? I haven't seen 1. I must be using the wrong terms when searching. I just stumbled apon the sways and had to have them. I have a GTST, but I'm assuming that they are the same. (bumpers, hood, grill are all pretty much interchangeable so it should work with minimal work at best).

Cant wait to play with it. haha

well not 100% certain yet but word is I have survived the FY14 Hunger Games.

Nothing big at the moment, just been playing with the Launch Control on the FC lol.

Although bee trying to decide If I wanna slap on some R34 turbos in the mean time haha

Ordered a bunch of replacement hardware though. All these for like $7.00 each on Ebay.



Mainly like this. OEM ones on the left, replacement ones on the Right.
OEM ones are metal and eventually rust and such. So found these plastic ones to replace the metal ones.

Picked up a PFC Commander with a burnt up screen, Found a place that sells the replacement boards/screen for $25. Hopefully it will fix it.



AS well as the Boost Solenoid for the PFC.


J-Speed Fender Braces

Few little things done today

Ripped off the left side fender for rust inspection and corrosion preventive measures and installed the J-Speed brace.

Everything looked pretty good.


Steel wooled the frame primered and sprayed with some chassis paint.


I was pretty worried about the hinges cuz the looked pretty bad


luckily it just looked worse than It was


cleaned and painted with new RTV

Also got in my replacement screen for the PFC controller

Damn that was a tedious job when you have a shitty soldering Iron

Works great now but didnt realize that the new screen doesnt have an LED backing.... kinda sucks for night time...

Yeah from the factory they use seam sealer for them.

Some one at one point removed these hinges and sealed them wrong.

I always use RTV. Ill run a bead around the hinge so when I install it spreads and seals better.

Picked up an ARC piping kit off the auctions to add to the theme haha.

I have HKS piping on there now, so this will replace that

Yeah brand new parts are expensive for GT-R's especially this ARC stuff.
Most of this stuff is discontinued as well so used is the only way to buy it.

But auction hunting saves sooo much money.

I would like to clean up the piping and stuff more but cuz its exposed to the elements its kinda pointless since it will look like shit in like a year lol

I do and its for sale as well for $180 plus shipping, Only thing that wrong with it was it throw a HICAS light fault but I think the Magnetic pick up needs to be swapped with your stock gauge one and it should be fine.


Really easy to do only like 3 screws and would take 3 mins.

went by the Machine shop today and got some quotes, a little pricey on somethings but not too bad.

Swung by Super Autobac's and picked up a Defi Advanced BF "Starter Kit" that they had on sale. Didnt realize how much more expensive they are in the US
