so what tires would someone recommend for their first time out gripping? I'm thinking ziex's as well. Either the 512s or 912s. Though I've been looking at the BF Goodrich GForce Sports as well, but they're pricey compared to the Falkens. Maybe some Ecsta ASTs?

I'm running 15s btw. depending on what wheels I use I'll either be running 205/55/15 all around or 205/55/15 up front with 225/50/15 in the rear.

Azenis, I loved them at the last htm. 512's are discontinued, replaced by the 912. 912,AST's are very much the same. Wider the better, also rikens? Good tire for grip. Camaro ss ran them at last htm, he didnt complain and price is great.

if you got 15" wheels, nothing beats Azenis 205/50 15. The best tire for road racing for the price. I wish I could run them but I have 16's so I'm getting potenza RE-01R's.
