For me it's gonna be checking contacts/replacing the starter since it likes to not work when I drive the car on really hot days.

I will try to finish my dash repair and throw it back in the car. Install boost, oil pressure, water temp gauges and if time allows ill try to prime the oil cooler.

Nice! What are using to fill the holes? Are you wrapping your dash or flocking it?

Its a combination of expanding foam to make a base for the bondo, sanding and a couple of layers of fiber glass. once smooth i will be wrapping it. I don't know yet with what though. Ill post some shots of my ghetto rig. lol

So def the starter....

I read on supra forums the contacts inside the starter can get junk built up on them, so I was going to look at that first before returning it. (Who knows what all they do when they "remanufacture" these things)
I cleaned the contacts in my starter after getting a new one that didn't work, the only thing I've done to make mine work is to run a push button start to the starter from a 12V source.

My Labor plans are to figure out how in the heck to wire up Reverse light on my 2J swap so I can pass inspection.

Junkyard trip to find replacement power steering pump and an FPR. There's usually a bunch of GE's around here. I should also get around to hooking up my R154's reverse light indicator...

Interesting, reverse lights aren't needed to pass inspection in Texas

In VA i need them, but honestly, the guy who inspects my car is cool so he will probably let it pass but I just want them to work.

The next task will be to find someone wh can tune a mapecu 3, I've been hearing mixed opinions from tuning shops in VA And MD about the, so AEM V1 might be my next move. I'll try to chime in on here about the mapecu to contribute my thoughts.

Map ecu is a solid piggy back, but going to a v1 will give you way more options but can be finicky at times, for the money a v2 is the best bet. Of you don't have the $ for a v2 and are good with wiring you can buy a v2 for a Honda and a plug and pin kit and wire it all in and save yourself about $600 over the supra box.

If you have and map ecu questions you best bet is to call Brian at powerhouse racing, they are the #1 us distributor and he knows it like the back of his hand

Im going to go out in my garage, look at my motor on the engine stand, and then go back inside and play video games. This swap is taking forever.

Tell me about it, I've had mine on a stand rebuilt for 4+ years. I'm just now getting ready to paint the engine bay of my S14 and hopefully have it in by end of 2014. Adult life problems.

That's why I try to tell anyone contemplating any swap to just get it in stock and then go from there so you can enjoy driving the car.

I started my 1j swap around february, this does take forever haha.

Motor is in the car, but it seems like every little thing i have to do fights me. I should make a build thread.

I just finished wrapping my manifold and downpipe with the titanium dei heatwrap. Holy fckin shit I hope I never have to wrap another manifold for the rest of my life. My speedhut gauges came in as well as the spool for my differential so I'll be busy this weekend.

I actually ended up doing this last night after work. It wasn't too hard at all to set up. I also finished wiring the relay for my A/C. Still need custom lines made though...

Yeah I've been lazy had today off and haven't even touched the car. I did get my AC working a few weeks ago, had a local shop make me custom hi and low lines for $78! I paid and got out as fast as I could! Charged it up and been nice and cool since.

Did you keep the stock s13 evaporator (the bullet shaped thing near the fuse box).

Yea the drier is what I ment *face palm*. How did you route the line coming from the firewall to the compressor? Normally its behind the head on the ka buuuut with the 2j its darn impossible unless you routed it above the head or along the passenger frame rail and then between the sway bar radiator.
