High School of the Dead is a really good one. Season 1 is finished and I believe Season 2 is on the way. IMO the concept is great when you take in the fact that in an anime, you can get away with a lot more gore and action without the cheeziness vs. live action.

Hyakka Ryouran is one I'm starting to get into. LOTS of fan service, but if you've every played Samurai Warriors or Onimusha, you'll find some familiar names in there. Again, the concept is good, IMO. Very similar to Ikkitousen, if you've ever watched it.

watched first episode of Desert Punk on netflix a while back. It was pretty annoying. Won't be watching any more.

It wasn't the worst but yeah,
they tried to cram too much into 12 episodes
which is why I hate the newer 12 eps seasons
doesn't let shows develop a coherent story line
so it's done then?

Doubt DW is done, maybe just taking the break for a season. The Manga is still going and young (not even 50 chapters yet). The manga is much better as far as character development, etc. I hope they continue it though, I did enjoy it.
