More and more I am considering air bags for the next vehicle (probably gs300/400). Just seems to make sense. My only frustration is that when lower the suspension is softer and when its higher it's stiffer, which is backwards.

Idk why people are wanting such stiff spring rates, I just went from 12k/10k to 8k/6k on my 13. Now I can tuck a little rim out back on 17's, and my car rides SOOO much smoother on the street, I actually like driving it now.

So Joe blow gets a kit for his EG Civic that weighs 2400lbs. His friends say higher is better. So he orders it with 36k spring rates, then complains it doesn't go low enough but loves the "stiff" ride, and refuses to accept that the spring rates are to blame. So essentially each spring takes 2000+lbs to compress one inch. Multiply by 4, and it takes an 8000lb car to compress the spring on inch (depending on motion ratio of course). So you end up with the 2400lb car compressing the spring just over 1/4th of an inch. Anything about 12-14k depending on the motion ration, and type of car is just pointless. That's just my opinion though.
