Does anyone know if car paint work on the valve cover if i use a high temp clear coat?

valve covers do not get that hot. regular paint/clear will work just fine if you prep it properly

Normal car paint works perfect, just make sure you do good prep...same as painting anything really.

Yeah, custom fabbed brace. Thanks for the props guys, valve cover and brace matches the exterior, and the bay has since been repainted something far more obnoxious as my signature shows.

I just picked up my tapped s13.4 valve cover from Touge Factory. It's powder coated wrinkle March Red from new Mercedes. Came out pretty nice.

My old white powder coated S13 valve cover is up for sale now.
