Fixed.

Had my Russian River Consecration. It's very good. It reminds me of a red wine, crossed with a white wine, with a more bready finish.

Also had a Sierra Nevada Torpedo and I'm not a fan.

Thanks, I was looking at that the last time I was at the store.

Picked up a 6-pack of this. The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. Welcomes You!

Not a bad bock at all. I guess I am used to maibock's that are hopped to hell. Has a nice brown color.

I mean you should still try it if you are curious. It's something worth trying, but it wasn't for me. It's supposed to be extra hopped but it was very malty and sweet for a pale ale/IPA type beer. Maybe I'm just used to drinking things like Pliny the Elder, Blind Pig, or Celebration haha.

Consecration is fantastic...kinda odd you'd goto a Torpedo after that, lol!

I'm not a fan either, but man I bet your tastebuds were all over the place haha.

If you want a damn good American Bock, check out Troegs - "Troeginator"...damn fine example and always ranked high. Well priced too.

I'm not a fan of any Leinenkugle stuff at all :/

Drinking a HIgh Life right now...ice cold and free. Not the best beer, but when you Haul it for a living, you gotta drink the champagne! hahah.

I'm dbeating on having a Kasteel Rouge tonight, or some (gasp) Homemade Wine. Hard to say.

Yeah my friend bought a six pack and brought it over, and I didn't want to crack open anything too nuts considering I had to get up for work in the AM lol. I have a La Trappe Quadruppel and St. Bernardus ABT12 in my fridge as well but took the high road by drinking something less intense.

We originally went to the store to get some Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA but they didn't carry it this time, which was a bummer. That's basically how it went haha.

DFH 90 minute is a top 10 beer of mine for sure. I actually prefer that above Weyerbacher Double SImcoe, which was my beer of choice for a long time.

La Trappe/Koenigsvekadskfjadlk;fjahoven (sp) Quad is good for sure, as is Apt 12 (which I often have locally on tap...yes we have a very good beer bar). Can't go wrong with either, and I can totally understand now hitting one of those after Consecration!

Well tonight ended up being a Highlife, followed by a SN Pale Ale, and now a Shiraz and Scampi. Score.

Pretty sure that if I had a bomber of La Trappe or ABT12 I would probably die hahaha. I was already feeling a little buzzed after that 12oz bottle of Consecration... an additional 22oz of 10% beer would have done me in!

I think I'm one of the only people out there that doesn't care for any Delerium Products :/ Dunno why either, just not my deal. Apt 12 though rocccks

Well my night went from nice and light to dark dark dark.

Friend came over with a Weyerbacher Tiny, and then we had a Breakfasat Stout, and Old Rasputin after. We all slept well.

It's always a nice 'go-to' big boy stout for me. 4 pack usually lasts me quite some time as I save them for night caps or for special occasions.

The Weyerbacher Tiny is actually drinking really well now. Wasn't so good when fresh, but a year into it and it's coming along well.

Sierra Nevada:

Old Chico
Pale Ale
Summerfest
Glissade

+ a whole bunch of other beers they only serve on at the brewery. Sierra Nevada is located in Chico for those who don't know.

I also hear Hoptimum is kick-ass.

LOL! How'd you find that beer out there?

Awful IMO. Even worse on tap. Fantastic beer bar though, although I'd rather goto Eulogy when in Philly.

I really have had way too many list. Some recent favorites:

Ithica Brute - ON TAP

I've had a few bottles of this, and been up to the brewery for a small sample...but had a fantastic pour at 'Belgium Comes to West Chester' this past weekend. Fantastic!

New Belgium - Lips of Faith

Great American Wild yummmy. Good use of Peach.

Goose Island - Bourbon County 08
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_B3oyk9k-1E...+4.11.2010.jpg

I love this beer, but it's still way hot. However the flavor is through the roof.

Iron Hill - Quad

Big boozy, sweet....many will say unrefined for the style, but man was it good.

Nodding Head - Rudy's Kung Fu Grip

Just a nice funky Philly brewery gem. Also on tap at the BC-WC fest.

Breweries in Seattle rock. I live 1/2 a mile from a beer store with 400 varieties, and 2 miles from 4 local breweries. A local ice cream shop has a float that is Espresso Stout with Mexican chocolate ice cream. A local bar with 60 beers on tap too.

My favs
Maui Coconut Porter
Ninkasi Oatmeal Stout
Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA

STRONGBOW hahaha. Yea it's a shame that beer got a TON of hype, and many still love it...but as far as a Flemish Red, it's not very on target to me. They put a ton of effort into that beer, which made me 'want' to like it..but I can't.

ANY Unibroue Beer is pretty much good. I'm a fan of their common ones though the most, which is odd. Trois Pistoles (dubble/strong ale) is one of my super favorites by them.

Last night I had way too many Dogfish 90's....man I love that beer. Kinda 'big' for a session beer, but the malty hopbomb does it for me everytime.

Slow night tonight, so figure why not really relax with one of the best:

2008 St Bernardus Apt 12

Man this one has such a great 'overall' experience...and it's readily available! Not many(IMO) out do the Apt 12. In fact I'd take a Apt 12 before a ROchefort 10. Yes I said it.

You should look into their 'Creme Brulee' stout as well. You want to have an over the top 'vanilla' stout...it's similar in 'awesome' as Choklat, just the Vanilla versions haha
