Any new developments for cheap alternator upgrades?

I scored one from a 2007 tundra to replace the aristo alternator.

I'm going to have to figure out how to get it to fit (something has to be milled / shaved off one of the mounting points).

And I believe the plugs are different, so I need to buy one of those from the dealer.

Can you edit that post and tell us what your mount kit and chassis you're using? It'll help people who search this thread regularly like myself haha.

I'm running the FSR turbo kit, with a Drift Motion 6465 turbo, It clears the shock tower nicely, but the compressor housing barely touches the fuse box

Just picked up my 1JZ VVTI over the weekend, pretty excited to get it in the car.

Does anyone experience/feedback on the CX Racing exhaust kit they offer the connects to stock turbo and links over to the stock S13 axleback near the rear sway bar? If it fits good I might do that as opposed to bugging my friends to use their welder.

I think I have this manifold but its not on the car or ran yet. looks alright and feels pretty durable. Some of the welds seem kinda poopy but what can you expect.

Anyways speaking about AEM's, anyone in here have or selling in the future a v1 or v2 for a 2j?

Thanks guys. The panel is mounted behind where the glove box would be to the dash bar. Fuse panel and ecu faces forward. The bottom portion is hinged to drop down and be able to get to it easier.

Made a switch panel too. The one on the left is a ignition/start switch

I have the cx racing downpipe on my stock twins. Its a good piece. You can modify your mid pipe to bolt to it. Just flip it over

Thanks man, I just didn't want to spend all of this on a nice engine setup and then have some ebay exhaust that fits like junk.

also is tweak and chasebay the only two places that will do a wire harness for 2jzgte vvti?
I have already been told to stay away for chasebay's harnesses buy quite a few people so thats gonna be out the the equation.

Anyone used DAFT recently for sway bar spacers? Called him before I placed my order. He said they were in stock on Thursday and would arrive by the weekend. Didn't see or hear anything by Tuesday so I called him. He picked up the phone and was pretty polite sounding, saying he would get me tracking info and call me back. Never called back. Has since let every call go to voicemail and I have left a few messages at this point. Preparing for a paypal claim.

I have the one they offer for the single turbo swap. Fits decent. Could be about 2-3 in longer and have an extra hanger. but other than that its not too bad.
