here guys... this is my custom RWD RC drift car project.

machining to fit the shocktower.

cutting the slot to clamp the motor.

drilling the holes for the shocktower mount.

tap them holes. set screw holes for the coupler...

Finished pieces!! little pieces are spacers for the drivetrain. coupler goes to from the motor to the driveshaft... 1:1 ratio except at the diff...

Pics of it all together..

modified it from this before.

going to make miniture s-chassis style knuckles and a custom shock mount setup like real coilovers with the brackets on the bottom of the shocks that mount to the knuckles. also going to desgning a new steering rack that will achieve more than 60 degrees...

sorry if this cluttered the thread. . just sharing what i love to fabricate.

Ughhh spam.

Anyways, I recently said I ordered a Hobart 210MVP. I told my dad how much I paid for a Welder and he questioned the brand and quality. He just wanted to make sure I got a good product.Iexplained to him how good the unit is and that it is made in the good ol' USA.

After all that, the welder arrived broken. lol It's not a big deal because Hobart will take care of everything. I just thought it was funny and wanted to share.

Size isn't important, its the radial load that is, use something with atleast 80 kN ( 18 000lbs) , for example:

XM Series Chromoly Steel | QA1

The XML10 should serve you well, but as you see for the same size the next one has almost double the load rating

ECU Mounting Bracket. Keeps it nice and straight so the wires aren't stressed. It also has clearance for a passengers foot to go underneath. it mouts to the floor and tranny tunnel on the passenger side and their left foot can go underneath.

the nut/bolt on the left tightens and compresses the ecu between the plate and the bracket.

$400 is a good price imo. I would buy that if I had the money but maybe someone else has a better opinion.

The bottle alone is worth $300.00 as long as it is up to date. $400.00 is more than fair.

I work there, but not in any of those departments.

Serious?! You guys rock! \m/

I thought that was what you do for all the nice motor builds going out..
I feel special now, Serious! That's hella cool, Thanks!

What was the reason for it? Just a silly day or what?

This is the end result... (I am still wiring and plumbing but almost there!)
It's a Fully Monster Built SR23DET in a 1973 Datsun 510....

Sorry to go off track here... Lets see some more Fabs!

Heres a Ls7 intake manifold I built yesterday. Design and machine work done by Ozmo Engineering. This will be for boosted cars.
