No lip for now. If it gives me any problems I'll put a bead around it. There's two s14's in my area with 1jz's, and they haven't had any problems with no lip, though I'm not sure what kind of pressure they're running in their cooling systems. My koyo cap is 1.3 bar.

Not that you guys care, but I'm stoked! Finished building my jumper harness, and got my car to fire up first try! I still have to clean up the wiring and install my front mount and do a few small things, but I'm just glad it's finally alive. And also sorry for it being a shitty quality video haha, it was from my 3gs.

Oh yeah, idk if anybody mentioned it earlier, but it needs to be well known that you gotta move the fuel lines from the passenger side to the drivers side unless going with a custom fuel system when you will still come up the drivers side.
I just spent half the day today doing this. |

Haha yeah it's on the first page. I used a set of chasebay's lines (they were free to me so I can't complain).
It'd be pretty easy to make your own set though, you'd need two lines ~54 inches in length, put a -6 end on the feed line, -6 fuel filter, female to female AN coupler (still -6), then a metric (m12x1.25) to -6 fitting to adapt to the stock 2j fuel damper. Return line will just be a rubber line with worm gear clamps on each end (also the other end of your feed line will also have a worm gear clamp, as these are being attached to your factory hard lines). I'll try and make a list of parts and prices tomorrow for someone who wants to DIY. |

My booster isn't the issue.....its the master cylinder. I went with banjo fittings on my brake lines, spaced the line side of the m/c with a couple washers and took a grinder after the last 2 runners on the manifold

So how is your booster hose connected to the mani? I was figuring I could run some sort of banjo to barb fitting off the top port in my manifold, but can't seemed to find a suitable solution

Ah damn lucky! Looks like I don't have one because Aristo's came with some sort of electronic brake booster. The bolt is the same for the x8/MKIII chassis and for MKIV's it looks like, I just hope toyota still makes/sells them though! I'll find out tomorrow when I try and order, but for anyone wondering here's info I found on SupraForums
7m 90401-12012 bolt, list 8.63 cost 6.59 ea 90430-12005 gasket list 1.06 cost 0.81 ea x 2 90405-09119 union list 8.63 cost 6.59 2j 90401-12012 bolt, list 8.63 cost 6.59 90430-12005 gasket list 1.06 cost 0.81 ea x 2 90405-09174 union list 7.06 cost 5.38 |

Yeah my GTE plenum isn't really close to my brake lines. And my upper plenum did come tapped from the factory for a brake booster fitting, it's directly on top of the plenum though, but it just had an m12x1.25mm bolt in it with a copper crush washer. Though I think some Aristo plenums did NOT have a factory port/fitting in the top, not sure which ones did and didn't, just glad mine has it. I just need to source that GE fitting haha.

But if anyone is wondering, the parts exist! Ordered all 3 parts today, will receive them tomorrow. So if anyone needs a solution to a brake booster fitting like I did, there you go. It was right around $20 out the door. |
