I just got a phone call from the property manager:

BAD NEWS EVERYONE.

Until we can work out the particulars of the meet; we have been asked NOT to come back.

The concerns are just this: once a week is TOO much for them. They do not want that sort of thing happening every week.

A group insurance: Incase somebody crashes it will protect them from any legal trouble.

He's going to be emailing me soon; and I will forward it out here on the forums. Smkbune you and I should get together soon (is sunday good?) so we can work together on getting this turned around quickly; we are both smooth talkers and maybe we can get something done here.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but this is kinda of what I expected when we take the legal route.

And he knew who I was calling for, cause he said he received a call on us last night.

And I'm pretty FUCKIN' LIVID right now.

that quarterly group is the monthly rx7club meets. and it seems like fuddruckers is kewl with them because they park directly in front of their building.

There's plenty of room at fusion. And if you actually go inside at fudruckers or bobalicious there is NO issue. I don't get why this is such a hard concept. Either eat something or just chill inside, or change it to like a beach or park location.

1. There is barely enough room. If I remember the last time there was only room because a few wrx's left. Please correct me if I am wrong in that statement.

2. We've gone pass the issue of patronage. Maybe that is a concern when there is like... 6-8 cars, sure I can see that. But when we have something of this size it becomes a bigger issue. What Smkbune and I are trying to do is make it so that everyone can come down without worrying about having to do that. If I recall, I don't believe the flash light cop gave 2 pints of piss if we had bought something or not. Nor could bobba really house all of us, and it's not particularly fair to go into fudruckers and order 20 waters.

But if I am missing something here, or just way off base, let me know. Like I've said, I'm tired and around this time my head hurts and I just want to go home and sleep lol.

Fusion looks like an option for a few people; but not the entire group. We are trying to find an adequate solution for everybody involved.

Last night Smkbune and I talked, and we figured that maybe this Tuesday some bowling is in order (we had talked about it in the past) till we find a perm. home for the meet. I know they do deals and what not on Tuesdays, so there you have it.

What does everyone else think about that?

the bowling deal doesn't come affective until after 9 on tuesdays, i'm fine with staying out that late but it depends on everybody else who may have work the next morning.

I don't get it. Why can't we just eat inside? Why would people be willing to pay for bowling if they aren't willing to pay for a drink or a burger and fries at fuddruckers? 2 years ago when I was going to meets at the same location, we just all ate inside at a big table since its free seating and talked for a few hours. Anyone ok with that or am I stupid? It just sounds like an easy fix.

Don't get me wrong, I'm down for both, I just don't get why it's such a big deal. We can just eat inside and love each other <3. Loitering in a parking lot is going to be a problem anywhere when it turns into groups of 10 or more.
