I'd like to ditch the back seat eventually but I'm not sure how I want to do it yet. Just running the hatch carpet down there works but mine doesn't go far enough to cover everything up and look clean. Keeping the bottom cushion in and running the carpet under it is another option, or even getting the bottom part of the origin rear seat delete would be cool. |

Another option could be getting a custom carpet made to cover the whole rear.

Anyone in here used/have Alcantara in the interior?
I'm looking to do my A/B/C Pillars, Headliner & Rear Deck Cover in Alcantara.

dont do it unless your car is garage kept, that stuff fades so fast if parked outdoors, esp the decklids. even in baller ass porsches I have seen it.

Do you mind sharing the company or brand or where you got that from then? Because, you see the fading in cars like top of the line porsches and mercedez benz amg crap that I would valet all the time at my old job. When the cars were new, it made me really want the suede accents, then when they came in and were only a couple years old, it really made me reconsider.

Sil14 Let me know how you mount these. Most people I know that use them are typically under 6ft tall and have a custom bracket setup. I have been trying to get my seats out of storage to do some test fitting and brainstorm on a custom setup for these.

i hacked the brackets off the orginal rails. did it last night after work with an air chisel and grinder. drilled a hole where the original spot weld was and used the bolt that held the evo brackets with a locknut. took me about 30 min. i'm still in the process of making it sit a tad lower at least to be more even with my zetaIII.

Sil14 Thanks for the info... unfortunately I sold my s14 seats with brackets attached and so my only option is to get a custom setup made...unless someone has an extra pair of OEM rails for sale.
